If the reason you need child care in the summer is because you have a job and no one else to watch your kids. Find somewhere else. Child care programs book up months in advance here in Salem. This particular location has no AC so on days hotter than 90 degrees the program shuts down at noon. So you have to leave work. I don’t know about you. But that won’t fly with my job. The frustrating part is my son has been signed up for months. They waited till pretty much the last day of school to notify anyone. So no possibility of finding a different program. Locked in like it or not. As a single dad I think they should have told people the second they start asking about signing up. Also they don’t prorate for any half days. Full price end of story.
