What Parents Say
This YMCA facility in Superior receives mostly positive feedback with strong ratings for cleanliness, equipment quality, and staff friendliness. Members appreciate the pool, hot tub, weight room, and workout classes. However, some operational issues and accessibility concerns have been noted by users.
STAY OFF YOUR PHONES WHEN USEING EQUIPMENT, PEOPLE U HOLD UP OTHERS THAT ARE WAITING. other then that it's great place to go.
I'm glad there is a YMCA in Superior. I wish that the Fox News Entertainment Channel wasn't on in the weight gym. It doesn't align at all with the inclusive values of the YMCA, and it divides us.
Well staffed and clean location. Pool and hot tub are great but closing down for 30 minutes at a time several times a day is a pain when there are no chairs anywhere near the pool to sit and wait. Disabled people who want to keep swimming have no where to go during this time except a changing room with hard benches. Also, the doors are all very very heavy and hard to open for the disabled who are alone. They need auto assist doors for the disabled throughout the building.
Scammed out of 320 dollars. When I originally signed up, I told the receptionist I want to try it for a month. No one said anything to me about reoccurring charges when I signed up, nor did anyone mention that you have to sign a cancellation form in person. Haven’t been there or checked in 7 months but they happily collected money from me the whole time. I want a refund
Since Duluth YMCA is managing Superior YMCA the open rec pool times has been very limited due to Duluth Parks and Rec kids taking Superior rec pool time. Perhaps Duluth Parks and rec kids could use Duluth pools. As a senior I count on being able to use our pool to keep my mobility strong. There is no swimming now on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday's due to this change.
