Ymca Child Care Services - Bluegrass

I can't possibly say enough good things about our experience at Bluegrass KinderCare. Every teacher there is so dedicated, kind, and truly loves the kids. My son was here for almost two years and we were heartbroken to leave when we moved away. I would have certainly stayed as long as we could have!

Bluegrass KinderCare has been amazing for both of my boys. Ms. Terry is a great leader who is always present from when the facility opens to when it closes. She puts her heart and soul into the school, and it shows. The teachers are wonderful and give their all to the kids. My boys LOVE going to school. I never have any anxiety when I drop my boys off. I know they are being cared for. The teachers also do a great job updating the KinderCare app regularly. If I'm worried about one of them eating throughout the day, I can check the app. They upload pictures daily, so I can see what they're doing. I enjoy seeing the curriculum KinderCare uses and how it involves the parents. If you're looking for a school that feels like family, look no further.

My daughter started at Kindercare recently and I could not be more pleased with things so far! The staff is very experienced (which is very obvious day-to-day), the facilities are clean and well kept, and my daughter seems to be loving her time there. I feel very thankful we found such a sweet school that takes great care of our little girl!

My daughter loves attending here! The staff and programs are great. *** I wanted to take a few minutes to update my review a few years later. My older daughter, who attended here from ages 1.5-5, was so prepared for Kindergarten. Her K teacher was very impressed that she knew all of the sight words she showed the kids and I know it was because of the education she got at Bluegrass Kindercare! She loves coming back with me every day to pick up her little sister, who is almost 2, here. The staff all greet her and ask her about elementary school. I also want to share my experience dropping off my youngest the first day I brought her in at the end of my maternity leave. Dropping the kids off can always be a *little* emotional for me, even after two kids and doing it so many times. 🙃 But dropping off the baby for her first time, marking a new stage in our lives, was definitely emotional for me. When I brought her in, Ms. Gladys opened the door to the infant room and her whole face absolutely lit up at the sight of my baby. It made me feel so good—this woman, who was in a room full of babies, was so excited to see and care for MY baby. 🥰 Ms. Gladys has since retired. But I know that these are the kinds of people that the Director Ms. Terry takes the time and care to hire to take care of our kids, so I feel great sending mine here. 💗

My daughter has been attending this center for nine years and my son has been attending for four years. The directors and teachers are simply the best. I have no doubt that my children are receiving compassionate care and excellent instruction when they are at Kindercare. My daughter and son have both taken phonics from Ms. Carolyn and I feel that it was a huge help to my daughter when she started school. The teachers treat my children like family. I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for childcare.
