Great gym with a diverse line of equipment. Can be a little cramped at times but people are friendly and are happy to share machines. Steam room, hot tube and sauna are always clean and in good working order. Lock room is kept clean and has plety of space. Definitely worth the money for a membership

The parking lot at this YMCA is consistently unsafe whenever it snows. Even a light snowfall leaves it poorly plowed and icy, and during heavier snow it becomes extremely bad and hazardous. This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a serious safety issue. People shouldn’t be risking slips, falls, or injuries just trying to park and walk inside to work out. You’re paying to improve your health, not to potentially get injured before even entering the building. What’s especially frustrating is that no other business in the area shows this level of negligence. Nearby lots are cleared and maintained, yet this Place repeatedly fails to do the same. Despite raising membership prices, basic upkeep like proper snow removal is still lacking. On top of that, the gym hasn’t returned to its pre-pandemic weekend hours, no longer staying open until 9 PM on Saturdays and 7 PM on Sundays. Higher prices, reduced hours, and unsafe conditions reflect poor management and need to be addressed. I would give this place 0 stars if that were an option.

Member since September, 2025. I joined because of the pool and hot tub. There are hiccups with the hot tub once in a while, but these are complex systems, so I give them a pass. Contrary to other reviews, I find the pool pretty clean. Remember - water is like a petri dish! I like the temperature they keep the pool at because I'm a slender old geezer. I you want to swim a vigorous 2 miles, you may find it too warm, but I love it. Nevertheless, the pool staff/lifeguards should pay closer attention to the people using the lanes for lap swimming. Some of the members linger in the lap lanes doing nothing, and nothing is done even if you speak to the staff. For you lingerers, move to the kiddie lanes or get out. The other thing is the disgusting behavior of the men in the locker room. The spitting and nose blowing into the sinks/showers is repugnant. I asked them to post some standard warnings about personal hygiene in general, and especially for the cold/flu season to no avail. I don't use the weight room very often, but I do not find it messy or unorganized. Also, I believe they should have a banner on their website showing the daily status of the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam etc. I just found out today that they do send out email notices about facility impacts, but it went to spam. I agree with others that the staff at the front should always know on a daily basis what is working and what is not. Let's be kind and respectful of each other!

I have been a member for more than six months now and have been thoroughly impressed. The facility, the classes and the sauna/steam rooms are great. Sure it could get crowded at times but I almost always managed to find a spot for whatever activities I wanted. This is definitely one of the better Ys and is my go-to-gym.

I’ve had such a positive experience at the YMCA. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a great variety of equipment and programs for all ages. I really appreciate the sense of community, everyone is so encouraging and supportive. Whether it’s fitness classes, swimming, or just using the gym, there’s always something great going on. The YMCA truly lives up to its mission of building a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to work out, connect, and feel part of a community!
