What Parents Say
YMCA ASP @ NINFA LAURENZO EC receives predominantly positive reviews (8 five-star ratings) praising teachers, bilingual curriculum, special needs support, and caring leadership. However, two one-star reviews allege teacher misconduct, administrative cover-ups, and unprofessional front office behavior, creating a stark contrast in parent experiences.
My daughter started here at 3 years old the teachers are amazing here, they greet her by name every time she walks through the door both principal and assisted principal greet the children at the door along with other staff, they ensure your child safety before and after school my daughter knows many words in Spanish, including her numbers up to 30. They take their education seriously all of their curriculums might seem fun, but it is for learning and growth. Thank you guys for all you do Ziree graduates next year and you all will be missed ❤️
I must say that Ninfa Laurenzo has so many wonderful staff members starting with the principal always smiling and ready to answer any questions you may have. They are doing a great job. They give attention to each child and make sure that each child in the class is able to learn. Really appreciable and very hopeful that together we will make this another successful year for our children. Every staff is very friendly and supportive. Give them a try you won’t regret sending your child to Ninfas.
Both my kids attended Ninfa’s and it was such a great experience for myself and my kids. One of my kids had a speech delay and needed speech therapy. The principal communicated with me that they were in the process of hiring a speech therapist for the school and his missing hours would be compensated- which they were. The school also offered virtual speech therapy that he was able to do during the weekend for 30 minutes- which I accepted and was a great program as well. But even without the speech therapist teacher, his teacher was great and I noticed a huge improvement in his vocabulary. Both my kids had the same teacher, and she was amazing. I appreciated that she had a routine with the kids and treated them like mini adults. Now that my kids go to an elementary school With grade level up to 5th grade- I miss the fact that Ninfa was so small and only had 2 grade levels. I felt safe sending my kids to school. Did not have to worry about older kids bullying smaller kids. Highly recommend Ninfa to anyone.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. Some teachers emotionally and physically abuse of the children. Principal denies speech therapy for children who need it. Principal covers up for the teachers instead of actually putting children first. I would like to add that I am happy for those that received the services they needed. I was denied speech therapy for my son and I have documentation on it. Interested in finding out how those who received it were granted services. Additionally, I would like to add that teacher assistants are moved from classrooms when they don’t comply/agree with abusive teachers. TAs are threatened and told they cannot complaint, basically stripped of their rights.
The most amazing Prek teachers in town and the new leadership team really cares about the school community, including teachers, families, and, of course, their students. Most of them are bilingual, por lo que ve y apunta tu niño o niña ya ;)
