This year was our first time ever having a child in school and we are so thrilled that we chose Yaldaynu. In addition to a fantastic staff and curriculum, the community that the school cultivates has really blown me away. All of the families in our daughter's class have been so eager to meet, connect and support each other. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's made me want a second child so we can stay at Yaldaynu longer. Such a beautiful school and community, I really can't recommend it highly enough.
Our decision to choose Yaldaynu as our son’s first school at the tender age of 2-years-old is truly one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family! Being a first-time mom and a non-NYC local, it felt intimidating to navigate the school options in the city. But Yaldaynu, made the process easy and very pleasant. The administration and all teaching staff are all very nurturing and we feel that they all genuinely love the kids they care for. They have great programs and we’re very happy how it helped our toddler develop so well. We feel at ease leaving our son in their care and that’s top priority for me and my husband. I cannot say enough good things about the school. We recommend Yaldaynu to all our friends!
Yaldaynu Preschool is a fantastic program and really special community, my son is in Blue Door (their 2s) right now. At times I've felt overwhelmed by or disconnected from the vast landscape of Jewish life options in NYC and even on the UWS ... Yaldaynu is a unique and warm place. I'll be sad when it's eventually time to move on (good thing we had a 2nd kid 😂), and hope the next set of teachers and educators that my son has can care for him and get to know him as well as they have. I highly recommend. It's an incredibly special place.
As a first time parent I was so overwhelmed with the school market in New York City. I feel so grateful that we found Yaldaynu!! It is such a warm environment with teachers that truly care about my daughter. This is the first full-time care that my daughter has had in her life and I am so happy with it. If you’re looking for a small intimate caring environment - this is the place for you.
Yaldaynu is a wonderful, family and community oriented school. Our son started there this past fall, and he loves it. He comes home every day and talks about what he has learned and the fun he has had. His teachers are warm, caring, intelligent, and show a real commitment to making sure their students make the most of their day. They are a true joy to interact with. The administration and the teachers made the transition to schooling easy and exciting. We couldn't be happier with our choice of pre-schools!
