Our kiddo LOVED his first summer at Camp Wyldewood. The staff made the entire process super easy for us parents. We are looking forward to 2026!
Our family has been attending this Christian summer camp for years, and it is truly worth every mile we drive from Georgia to Arkansas! The safety rules are exceptional—far beyond what we’ve seen at other camps nearby—which gives me complete confidence in sending my kids. I know they’re being taken care of in a safe and nurturing environment. Beyond the excellent care, my kids have so much fun! They come home every year already planning their next trip back. The camp provides the perfect balance of spiritual growth and unforgettable fun. It’s not just a camp—it’s an experience that strengthens their faith, creates incredible memories, and builds lasting friendships. If you’re looking for a safe, Christ-centered, and joy-filled camp for your kids, this is the one. We are so grateful for the impact it has had on our family!
Camp Wyldewood has been special to our family for many years! Its landscape and peaceful nature makes it a beautiful place to connect with God and others.
I left the Church of Christ, and ultimately Church altogether as a result of this camp. The indoctrination pressure I felt as a person struggling with faith was overwhelming, and not only did I not receive spiritual support, I was outcast (with the exception of 2 close friends.) If you come from a traditional Church of Christ background, and you’re comfortable there, then this is the place for you. If you’re on the fence and struggling (or your child is) stay far far away. Not many modern Christian establishments teeter the line of “cult” followings, but this is very close.
Camp Wyldewood is near and dear to my heart. My family has gone through 3 generations at Wyldewood. The staff, the mission, the facilities, everything is so special. The love for Jesus and the passion they instill in young men and women is just phenomenal. I spent my informative years going to camp wyldewood in the summer time (10 years). It was always the thing i looked forward to the most in the summer. My relationship with God and Jesus was highly influenced by the counselors and peers and Devos and activities I experienced at camp. I would reccomend 10/10 for this church camp. I have been a board member, camper, and helped on utilities in the past. I love coming on campus. It just feels so good. Much love to all my wyldewood people! One the best places on Earth!
