Me and my son have experienced a number of daycares, and this one is the absolute best. We came across this location by accident but no regrets at all. Mrs Colleen is a great teacher, she is very vocal and friendly. As well as all the other staff, it's a very comforting establishment and the size of it really allows everyone to get to know each other, the only regret I have is not finding this place years ago. Or sooner I have even recommended this location to a few other mothers ❤️

My son went to World Around Us for several years. He blossomed in their care. He absolutely loved going each day. And the teachers are so kind. We tried four different daycares and this is the only one I would recommend. Our son had some testing for learning/speech delays done while he was in attendance at World Around Us. An evaluator came out to his class to observe him. Afterwards, she had nothing but praise for the teacher and the program.

I honestly dont think 5 stars is enough. If i could give 10 i would. The vocabulary my children have learned while attending WAU is amazing. People always complement me saying “Wow i can not believe he is 5 years old!” “Wow i can not believe he is 2 years old!” You can carry full conversations with them and I have WAU to thank for that! They are always doing arts and crafts, hands on projects or activities (with lots of cute photos and updates), teaching my oldest how to write and read so now hes able to identify words while reading and writing them out, they are giving them meals while encouraging them to try new things if they don't recognize foods as something they'd usually like! The teachers are quick to let me know when something is needed for my children so they are never going without. The infant teachers Ms gemma and Ms pam are amazing. I remember being SO nervous to leave my 6 week old newborn and they have never failed to amaze me! They love my daughter like their own it seems like. And my daughter really loves them! Shes 1 now and she gets so excited when she sees her teachers and even the director Ms Dawn! She even knows sign language which i thought was SO cool. I really like how when my oldest in pre k is having a tough day they work with him on what is going on instead of calling me for him to be picked up. Ms Dawn does an amazing job with this facility, her teachers, her classrooms, EVERYTHING! If you are looking for an intimate daycare where the teacher to student ratio is perfect for being able to properly care for kids and looking for a daycare where teachers treat the children as their own, WAU is perfect! The Halverson family loves it here and we will always have amazing things to say! :-)

World Around Us is a wonderful daycare! My son has been going there since he was 18 months old, he is 3 1/2 now. He has a close relationship with all of the teachers and students, all ages. It really makes me feel happy and relieved that he is in such great care while I am at work. The director, Dawn is so loved by him. His teacher, Miss Brittany is his ultimate favorite. He even tells me how she scratches his back for him during nap :). I can't express enough how much I appreciate the professional, clean, family oriented ethic WAU brings to the children. The staff do a great job teaching the kids as well as showing them a fun filled day. Water days in the summer, field trips on their cute little bus to the nature center, all of the creative little arts and crafts they make, everything. Their efforts definitely do not go unnoticed!

looking for a daycare? Keep looking!!! These people have scammed my friend out of hundreds of dollars. They have zero patience for your children. If your 2, 3, 4 year old has a little fit, they get thrown out. They take toys right out of the kids hands, that sure wouldn't make me happy, especially as an adult. That is not how you work with children. It sure looks great but I would do your research and move on. They are short staffed. Short staffed, and short with your kids. They also will withhold lunch from your child if they are not acting right. I have been in childcare for YEARS, so when I had availability to babysit, the girl told me she was so hungry and that she didn't get to eat anything.. I asked, well did you get lunch? She said no, they made me sit in the office, I never got lunch. They run the daycare like its a military school. Gotta take your orders or you get sent home.
