Woodlake UMC is affiliated with Woodlake Mom Co, I would just give the advice for moms who are looking for a community to steer away. I honestly have experienced some of the strangest, most passive aggressive behavior from the moms in the guise of “knowing better” and “being older.” Honestly? They’re just not nice folks. I went to the church one time as a part of an event and I also didn’t think it was anything special. I would recommend Crestwood for a more accepting experience. The things I’ve encountered: - Being made fun of for my age / picked on. - Being ignored as if I was literally not present / older ladies literally talking about or around me while I’m physically there. - Passive aggressive behaviors and remarks about working, other folks never wanting to have a real job because real jobs suck, etc etc. - Being told it was best if I found somewhere to go that was closer to home. This affiliated group doesn’t live Christian values AT all. I would be worried about that if I was UMC Woodlake.

Our home church for over 20 years, WUMC was a major part of our lives when we lived in VA. It has such a multitude of services, programs, groups and activities that everybody can find a place to help out, make new friends and grow your faith.
