What Parents Say
These reviews are for LifePoint Church, not a daycare facility. The reviews describe a non-denominational church in San Tan Valley with strong biblical teachings, welcoming community, active youth programs, and supportive pastoral staff. Parents appreciate the worship experience, spiritual guidance, and community service initiatives.
This church is close to the home I purchased, so I hunted at almost ALL the other local churches before trying this one, just to see where the Lord wanted my family. LifePoint was the perfect fit in every way. Spirit filled, Spirit lead, solid biblical teachings, great kids program, worship that really invites the Lords presence, great friends and community. I seriously can't recommend it enough!
I began my journey into Christianity at LifePoint Church. LifePoint is a non-denominational church perfect for those seeking biblical truth and knowledge. The Senior Pastor Nathan Bentley weaves together both new and old testaments into one unified testament of the lord. He and his pastor staff were instrumental in my baptism and acceptance of Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. If you're seeking a church that fills your cup of faith LifePoint is a great start.
Great worship and message. People were friendly and welcoming. We came to visit during our Christmas Vacation.
I want to preface my review by stating that Lifepoint Church is not a bad church! They are filled with God fearing and honoring, servants of Christ, who deeply care for one another. I enjoyed much of my time attending Sunday services, youth groups, and Bible studies from Lifepoint church. However during my many years of attending Lifepoint I was puzzled by the lack of order and unity. It seems that many leaders within the Church either lack the depth, or are undecided on their doctrine and beliefs. From the gifts of pentecost, to soteriology, the church doesn't clearly address itself and it's stances, and seems to have no binding creeds. Lifepoint is subject to be swayed by various doctrines, endangering the unity of the church. Most of this is due to a lack of ecclesial order and governance, it seems many of the elders may not have been properly ordained, with some being unfamiliar to the views of another. Lifepoint ultimately suffers from the same symptoms many other "non denominational" churches suffer from, and lacks a culture of integration. They would greatly benefit from joining a larger ecclesial body, and making adhering declarations to historic Christian creeds, perhaps the London Baptist Confessions, or something similar to their evangelical theology. They should also partner with a local evangelical seminary, perhaps the Phoenix seminary, to sponsor more learning amongst their members and elders Elders should rigoursly examine one another and the pastor's teachings, and draft a formal declaration of their authority in the church, perhaps based on the Presbyterial assemblies of other churches. They are a group of lovely people, but terribly undecided, passionate, but often misguided. Lifepoint needs it's leadership to make stronger and bolder decisions, even if those decisions are unpopular. May God continue to bless them in truest Holy Faith, and a deeper understanding of worship, Word, practice, and Sacrament!
I’ve been to a few churches in the San Tan Valley and Florence area and Lifepoint is the most welcoming of the churches I’ve visited and encourages you to use the gift(s) God has given you. They are a strong bible based church and a spirit filled church. I love the worship there as it genuinely seeks the heart of the Father and its focus is to develop us as disciples of Jesus. Lifepoint also has a strong missions focus and supports many local groups. Love, love, love this family of believers!!!
