I am currently member at this gym, I am having a good experience and making use of most of the amenities thus far. The staff is helpful and most of the night shift are friendly. I rate the cleaniliness an 8/10 unfortunately, people who come and use the equipment will not wipe down after using it. But the staff is very attentive, always changing out gym towels,cleaning and what not. I know there is a pool here, which I don't use but I have heard good things about it. The classes that are offered are a wide variety, depending on what your focus is for weight loss or overall health. The equipment is up to date and ranges from free weights to elpiticals and bikes. I enjoy coming here during the evening, when it isn't so busy. Also safety is a plus, there's an anytime fitness across the way, but I prefer YMCA and the quality care and great amenities provided to Y members.
My family, and I applied for a scholarship and we're doing month by month payment instead of a full membership. We were told we could put a hold on it for the months that we did not plan to attend but that we would not have to reapply for scholarship until the next tax season came around. I guess our scholarship got accidentally deleted and we were not allowed to go swimming at our local y m c a due to their mistake. My 4 year old is so upset. Their manager is on vacation, so they will not be able to take a new application which would be a waste of time anyway given that we will be doing taxes in a couple of months anyway.
All the staff is friendly, play and learn is great! Facility is always clean and I feel like there is always somebody cleaning and picking things up. Kids take swim lessons here and the instructors are amazing for both group and private. Have done several of the sports activities and they do a great job with the young kids introducing them to a variety of different activities as a chance to just try things out
Swim Instructor, Emily is very patient with my autistic little one during swim lessons. Her focus on safety and redirecting him when he gets distracted is always on point.
Witham YMCA is the best!! Equipment, classes, pool all clean and in good shape. Staff are great
