Parents highlight the accessibility of leadership, low teacher turnover, and strong community feel that makes children excited to attend.
This school is incredible! I can't say enough good things about our experience. Donna and Dana are passionate, intentional, and personal. There is very low teacher turnover which is unheard of in a childcare setting. Wishview has the coolest outdoor area where creative play is encouraged! We couldn't be happier!
Ok, I'm finally ready to add my review of this school. My son was dismissed from this school around May 2025 via EMAIL at 10:00 PM at night. This was after I spent a month, 2- hours a day in the classroom to assist and observe him in the classroom with transitions. The director, Amanda Morgan saw me this day and instead of speaking to me and allowing my family time to process, we were sent an email and 2- weeks notice (how embarrassing). No meetings, no real care to meet his needs. We were pushed to get EC services and assessment, therapy services, medication to only find that there are no concerns and he met all the markers or above the markers. He is currently thriving where he is and ultimately, because he didn't take naps they didn't like him, overall; I just don't think they liked him--point blank. He did struggle with a hitting at one point (he was 3 and turned 4 during his time there) however; what I saw was that he wasn't accepted by his classmates and struggled with connecting with them. I do think the lead teacher, Ms. Rosmond was nice and he learned a lot but this experience was traumatic for my entire family. Also, a teacher Ms. Josie, I saw snatch his snack from him and throw it a way in a petty- aggressive ("I can't stand you type of way") way one day while I looked through the window at pick-up. Her excuse was unacceptable and I should of saw that as a red flag at the time. ALSO!! They know they are wrong as, it has been months since this happened, my first review of the school and they blocked me from their personal Facebook pages as well as the school Facebook page. Everything that glitters, isn't gold and I thank God for this closure.
My 2 children, now 5 and 3, have been at Wishview for a year and a half. I can genuinely say we love it there and are loved well there. We and our kids adore all of their teachers (4 different classrooms and hands down love them all). They have grown and learned SO much. They play outside ALL the time and get dirty, which I love. The director Amanda is easily accessible and kind. Donna the owner is also there often and very accessible. One of our children has needed some extra supports on the behavior and social front and everyone there has been so supportive of them and of us. Even when Amanda has had to tell us “hey, you’ve got to be consistent about picking up on time,” she does it with kindness, understanding, and from a place of support. They are very transparent on their tuition and upcoming increases and make good faith efforts to keep costs as low as possible while still providing a living wage for their staff. We just love the Wishview community and recommend it to everyone we know. This is what community looks like!
We've been a Wishview family for eight years, and from day one, we felt like part of a family. I'm consistently impressed that the directors and front office staff greet me by name and can share details about my child's day as I pick up at the end of the day. There's a genuine family feel here, and it's comforting to know our child is surrounded by nurturing, attentive caregivers who truly adore what they do. Our 2.5-year-old is absolutely flourishing here – she even declares, 'Mommy, that is MY daycare! I love it here!' every time we pull into the parking lot. The individualized care each child receives truly sets Wishview apart. The staff dedicates time to understanding every child's unique personality, needs, and learning style. I recall how my oldest, often the first to arrive in her pre-K classroom, benefited immensely from invaluable one-on-one time with her incredible teacher, which significantly boosted her math and reading readiness. Our favorite aspect is the emphasis on age-appropriate outdoor playtime. Come rain or shine, Wishview ensures children get fresh air, movement, and opportunities to explore nature in a way that ignites joy, curiosity, and healthy risk-taking. They've masterfully balanced fostering children's innate capacity to learn with creating an environment that nurtures both playful exploration and academic advancement. We've seen our child blossom socially, emotionally, and intellectually in ways beyond our wildest expectations. We can't recommend this center highly enough. It's a place where our kids have found a home away from home, and that truly makes my mama heart happy!"
I can't say enough about what an incredible community this is. Our kids have been in Wishview and their sister school, PGP, and are now headed off to Kindergarten. We have never once worried about their safety, happiness or quality of care at either Wishview or PGP. Specifically at wishview, my daughter has learned reading, writing, math, music, Spanish, science and the world, and maybe most importantly -- how to manage conflict and build friendships with her peers. She comes home happy, relaxed, often with stories about activities she enjoyed or fun she had playing with her friends outdoors. They do field trips, science experiments, messy play in the woods, art projects and more. I've seen her grow into a confident, joyful kid who is 100% ready for kindergarten, and has a love of learning. That foundation is just so important. She has developed such beautiful relationships with her teachers (a special shout-out to Ms. Rosmond and Ms. Alexis, who she adores). After 4 years with PGP and Wishview, I really feel that this community of teachers and directors has co-raised my children with me, and I couldn't be more grateful. We will miss you all next year, and thank you for everything!
