Wish I could say this place was all great, but that is far from the truth. Came in today(2/18) and the little girl at the frount desk was very very rude to me ( Hailey or Gigi not sure wich) and should not be allowed to continue to have a job here. However the instructor teaching the class was incredible only reason this place is getting a 2 star review. Also when I gor home and talked to my grandson he said the were "cleaning" when he was doing his swim team and dragged a hose across his head just for the place to still look extremely dirty.
This used to be a nice gym until everyone in Colorado Springs started going to it. Now it’s always packed and so annoying to even get a proper workout in. There’s only 3 squat stations and you have the same poeple always hogging them up taking ALL DAY because they are either staring at their phones or having full blown conversations and giggling. They really need to implement time limits to be fair to other paying poeple. Also, the staff in the morning (mainly the younger Caucasian female with glasses and younger lady) doesn’t even greet you a simple “Good morning”. Common courtesy goes a long way and the morning staff definitely don’t have it. I don’t recommend this place at all.
First time coming and to the pool and oh my WOW it was amazing the staff TOP OF THE LINE walked at 5:30 am to a bright smiling face and was greeted with a worker who clearly loves her job I believe her name was Haylee(they had the lifeguards names on a whiteboard AWESOME!) And the body pump instructor was FABULOUS she was so entertaining, energetic, and fun!!! I cant wait to come back only down side was how early the class was :(
(POOL). What a joke! I wanted to love this place! MY ONLY complaint is i get the alloted time swim sloughts thats fine. But to give people in the locker room 10 minutes to shower and dress is a JOKE. You shouldn't be timed when you get out! PERIOD. I was in the shower and one of the lifeguards said 5 min. So I was hurrying me and my child and not even two minutes later when I was trying to get dressed they started dumping chemicals all over the floor. Like ummm OKAY. FUN TRYING TO PULL YOUR PANTS UP WITH WATER ON THE FLOOR LET ALONE PUT SHOES AND SOCKS ON. I had to physically leave the standing water in the locker room and go outside to finish drying to put my socks and shoes on. I don't get the hurry my feet were burning all day from whatever chemicals they poured. Sucked after my clean shower. I could NOT imagine a larger family trying to wash and dress more children in less than 10 min. Ridiculous! Or God forbid a handicapped person 🙄. They had way to many guards in the backroom flirting and one guard out on the floor. It was fun to watch though. NOT. And another thing 7 dollars to swim is a joke especially if you close half of it for the school year (splash pad)! I don't need a day pass to the gym. It shouldn't be offered an option. Such as hey do you want pool access only or both gym and pool. Like why am I paying for the gym as well when I'm only using the pool?. NOPE! NEVER AGAIN!
Awesome communinty center with gym, basketball/volleyball, classes, a daycare inside if your working out. Great for everyone, also access to indoor pool, outdoor pickleball /tennis courts.
