Whiz Children'S Academy

My son has been going to this day care since he was 6 months old and just turned 2 today. I appreciate that they teach my son new things everyday. He loves going there. They really love my son he's good for the most part. They keep me updated about when he doesn't eat normally and if he has issues with anything. They teach me things about being a mom like when it was time to ween him off the bottle. And I am super happy to say my baby has never had diaper rash or come home with any problems. I'm moving soon and will drive out of my way to drop him off with them. I trust with all my heart that they will be good to my baby and fair to me. I can't thank them enough for all they do.

I have used this daycare off and on for almost 2 years. We never stay long due to ongoing problems with the actual care provided and horrible staff. The manager overcharges me and always has. She loves to argue about prices and will yell at anyone to get money out of them. Today as I was enrolling my 2nd child and paying for the week up front she was already telling me how I would be charged late fees on Friday. I paid 316.50 for a week of childcare and then told to leave after I commented how unprofessional it was to overcharge someone intentionally. They actually refused me childcare services after i spoke up. Its for the best bc this place is just trashy.

This is Iminta director of Whiz Children's Academy. I've been working with kids for more than 20 years, I know the State regulations by heart , I know what I should and should not do to the kids, besides that as a mom myself I would never mistreat or disrespect a child in any kind of way, therefore I can assure you that the snapping NEVER happened I have my teacher which was in the classroom at the moment of the "supposed" snapping happened as a witness.About the door situation I told her that the door problem was already addressed to my boss and the door was going to be fix soon ( which is already been fixed) there was not yelling AT ALL! I guess she wanted the door to be fix at the moment which was obviously impossible.About the prices, all my parents know that the regular rates increasing where starting on September 1st but the late fees and drop ins fees where due immediately. The lady was evidently not happy with the daycare (or me) so every day was a complaint and a problem for no reason. I never kicked her son out I told her that if she wasn't happy with the way i run my daycare she could take her son somewhere else because every day we do our best to please our parents and provide the best service for the kids and again she started arguing and threatening the daycare in front of the kids, and that's the real reason she is not longer welcome in my facility any longer. One thing that she said is true I DO HAVE REALLY GOOD TEACHERS.

I used to take my 2 younger kids here. I had to stop. I witnessed 2 ladies not only yelling at 3 year olds but one of them(what sounded to be a slap) was yelling constantly at one particular child for crying. Also when I confronted the “manager” and asked if she had just slapped someone she said “no no no I saw the whole thing nothing happened”. I recommend this place to be completely rebooted and new staff in total or to be completely closed. Never again will they see my kids or money.

Love love love this place ! I am soo thankful for the love this place shows my child . I was recommended to this daycare a year ago from the chambers family . And I absolutely love it . At first it was on a drop in basis then eventually my work schedule changed . My child loves this place . Although there is some things that I brought to the director attention. She has changed the faculty and respected my thoughts and opinions . The child care is very friendly . My child constantly is asking to get dropped off. Lol I have never experience this before where he just wants to leave me . You know what that means! He loves it ! If he loves it so do it.
