White Oak Christian Child Care

After having my child stay at home until he was two, I was very hesitant to put my stubborn, headstrong, loving little boy in daycare. I am so happy I chose to tour this childcare facility. For the first few weeks it was a tough change. My kid would cry every time I left. Every day it got better and better and now every morning we walk in with smiles and he is happy to go to his class and see his friends and his teachers. The constant updates throughout the day really eased my mind. He has learned so much and has started talking so much. Every day when I pick him up he is happy as can be. I’ve picked him up early while they were playing at the park and he seemed absolutely overjoyed to be outside. The teachers are wonderful and so friendly and we chit chat every morning at drop off and every evening at pick up and they are very helpful and informative and reassuring. I truly feel completely secure in my choice to put my child in daycare here. We love it and have had the best experience so far!

The daycare is not terrible. Definitely had a rough first impression but, there has been a change in director that I feel is making up for the lack of communication. The kids play outside a lot and my child very much enjoys the outside time. My child appears to be learning and enjoying her time. Payment options are a huge inconvenience for those living paycheck to paycheck. When we started we were able to pay via card but the cost was to much for the facility and they switched to bank draft. If you’re like us you might wish to look for other accommodations. If you struggle with random payments and rather have a small card fee look elsewhere. Other than the payments being an issue the daycare isn’t to bad.

Our experience with WOCC has been nothing short of amazing. We have continued to send our daughter here for after school care simply because the staff is made up of people that truly care, who communicate with parents promptly and often, and bring a level of authenticity and passion that is not easily found. They also have included an app that makes communication between parents/staff and payment very streamlined and easy. I cannot say enough about the quality of people who work here from administrators to teachers and teachers aides.

We have been so blessed to have the WOCC communuty a part of our daughter's life. Mrs Renee West is such an incredible preschool teacher. She inspires growth and learning and provides nurturing discipline that every toddler needs at that stage in life. We have been so lucky to have such wonderful teachers assistants and staff be so dedicated and caring. They work as a team and our daughter has had such a wonderful relationship with all of them. They treat your child as their own, nutures their unique personality, and provides a safe and loving place to learn. They have become family. Having full day care has been helpful with our work schedules. They provide the kids with the right amount of curriculum/play/outside/relax time routine so our daughter always leaves happy and never cranky or over stimulated, even on her long 10 hour days. Infact, she even asks to stay later. We can't thank everyone there enough for what they do. We highly recommend both their 3 and 4 yr old prek programs.

I love the staff here, they are so kind and caring with my daughter. The only thing I recommend if you plan on using this daycare is making sure you save every receipt and keep track of every payment because the payment system is a little unorganized and you get statements that are very confusing. I’ve never missed a payment, but I had to double pay one time due to not saving receipts or asking for receipts soon as I made a payment, and two other times I had to correct and prove that I paid for the week. Other than that very important issue that needs to be worked on, I am pleased that I can trust them with my child.
