A family-oriented, welcoming-to-all church. Their two service options — the traditional sanctuary service and the newer Loft format — provide a space where people can worship in the way that works best for them, with the Loft service being a more communal and casual space for a younger church population (also starting later!). The pastors are amazing humans and teachers, clergy you can connect with deeply. And they have the most wonderful Sunday School staff and program!
God is so present in this church and we are so lucky we found it. Thank you WUMC for being our new home ❤️
This church was one that my husband likes to say he attended "in utero" because his folks attended this church over 70 years ago. He retired from being a pastor and we returned to his "home church". I love this place mostly because they are have so many ways to serve and help others in the community, the nation, and the world. They are accepting and welcoming of everyone regardless of one's ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, financial standing, or belief system. They encourage folks to think, not just believe blindly. A breath of fresh air.
Thank you pastor Molly for making us feel welcome. And the greeters each week are so welcoming as well. I find the sermons relevant and insightful delivered with a genuine dose of humanity.
I go to The Loft upstairs. It's such a refreshing place to worship God. They're super progressive and accepting to everyone. Many people who attend aren't in faith, but still come for the community. A place to be loved.
