Westtown Children'S Academy Chadd'Sford

As a working mother of two, I have had a chance to visit many daycare centers (7) over the years: I have seen it all: the big franchise centers. the director who talks and does not listen, the infant room full of crying babies. I did not think the perfect daycare center existed until I discovered Westtown Children's Academy. I love everything about the center: the owner, Melanie, is warm, dynamic, and approachable. She seems to be very close to her staff, who is in turn engaged with the children. When I called to set up my initial visit, she let me pick a day and time, and I was able to visit each room on my schedule. I love that the teachers at Westtown Children's Academy look excited to be there and I have never, ever heard them anything negative about other staff, the owner, or the director, which is something I have come to value after my experience with daycare #1. I also love that the center's time and money energy is spent where it matters, with children, and not in marketing efforts (again, something I no longer take for granted). The infant room is spacious and full of toys. When I picked up my then 5 1/2 month old baby after her first day at school, she did not want to leave. The teacher in the infant room is phenomenal. She genuinely loves babies and has many years of experience caring for little ones. She is very knowledgeable about many topics and I have valued her feedback on how to introducing solids. Icing on the cake, she has been sending pictures AND of videos of my little one to us throughout the day, which contributes to making me feel good about having my little one there. Finally, I love the parents at the academy. Every parent I have talked to seems laid back and easy-going, focused on the happiness of their little ones, which, based on the pictures and videos I have seen, is what the kids experience at Westtown Children's Academy :)

We enrolled our three young children into Willowdale and since then our kids have excelled beyond our expectations. The teachers are amazing and really focus on developing the children's learning capabilities and that is extremely important to us. Enrollment was simple and the cost was very reasonable (especially for three kids). We would absolutely recommend Willowdale.
