Westley United Methodist Church

My daughter was accepted into the college which is the reason we had recently moved up here in June... We both found a new job at the Bloomsburg University but don't start until August... I called this church for help and even though the woman gave me resources none of them could help... It's not like I came here not wanting to work because I was job searching from the first day I moved here... I was denied help through them even when I told them none of the resources fell through she told me that there was nothing else she could do. She also accused me of collecting disability and receiving a check when Im not collecting and I received no check... I felt as if she was belittling me and by the time she was done with me on the phone i felt ashamed and worthless for even asking... i will be definitely calling the goverors office , state representative, and any other person that is a higher up... We are ALL gods children and GOD does NOT pick and choose who he wants to help!!! I could understand if I was doing nothing to help myself I could understand if I was using drugs or alcohol but I'm not I'm a single mom trying to allow my daughter to achieve good goals in life by going to college... And to be accused of doing or recieving something that never happened... Was unbelievable!!! I do believe that not one of us deserves Gods grace but he blesses us all anyway... He doesnt pick one person and leave another behind... He loves us all equally... So as my daughter and i search for a church to go to in this area the Wesley will not be one of them... I believe there was a review on here stating that this church is hipacritical and after the way i was treated i whole heartedly find that to be true!!! My promise to any one that was or will be treated the way i was... I am seriously checking into seeing what i can do for being treated so poorly through this church... I am waiting for the state representative to get back to me and i need to fill out a form for the governor and all of this will be done!!!

My mom and I just recently moved here because I got accepted into the college here, and we just got our job so we haven't started yet but when we called the person who answered was extremely rude over the phone. She judged my mom, and just was extremely rude in general.

This place is warm and welcoming. The congregation is very friendly and inviting. Great services and awesome choir. They also have live skits that are very well put together. Children have a special place in the service, the pastor calls them to the front and shares a message with them as well as opportunities to sing in the service.

Very nice, friendly people. Service is very good, making you feel good about yourself.

Amazing architecture. It's a beautiful church people who greeted me were helpful and friendly. Very welcoming.
