I was terminated from care shortly after respectfully expressing that I need more structured, ADHD-informed therapy sessions. While I understand that not every provider is the right fit, the process felt abrupt and lacked proper transition support. I was also told that I had switched therapists too often,even though I had clearly communicated from the beginning that I felt most comfortable working with a therapist of my ethnicity and was always polite and respectful throughout the process. I have been receiving services through WJCS since I was 5 years old, and I’ve never been treated this way before by previous providers. Clients should be able to advocate for their needs without feeling dismissed.

Wouldn’t recommend if you need a trauma certified therapist who has studied and is knowledgeable of psychology. They only have LCSW’s who have limited knowledge of different treatment modalities. I even had one who read from a script because she was so grossly unprepared for her role. Find an actual psychologist. Do not go here.

From the beginning (over a year ago) I was never treated with respect. As a patient on MAT and with other mental health diagnosis’ I do not understand how they just closed my case and canceled my psychiatrist appointment without verbally confirming it with me. I called to confirm my appt to get medication refill and they told me “my case was closed”. How is that even ok?!!! Horrible service, horrible people. They genuinely do not care about their patients at all. My therapist got switched and they fired the first one I had anyways so why would I feel comfortable continuing with therapy? I just wanted to be able to get the proper medication I need and was NEVER in the many times I’ve spoken to people Imnotified that it is required with Wjcs to attend therapy with psychiatrist appointments (bc obviously I would go if I knew it was necessary). It’s disgusting how they have handled this situation and completely dismissed me. This is how people end up in the ER and psychiatric facilities. My psychiatrist was Winsley and I genuinely don’t understand how he as a DR can just stop someone’s medication.

Do not take your love one there if you love them They genuinely don’t care. They’re there for a paycheck. They don’t return phone calls. No psychologist on site. They think it’s adequate for a social worker to manage mental health issues while only seeing a np psychiatrist once a month. Unfortunately social workers aren’t taught how to probe patients and manage mental health concerns Social worker Candace Crawford needs to be fired immediately She never follows up with her patients in crisis refuses to incorporate family members to help reach client needs, sessions are poor without results. She is clueless on management of a mental health client, unsupportive only concerned of herself and license. There is a hidden agenda and it’s not concern for your love one. There’s no accountability for the mismanagement of treatment for any patient. There services are horrible. No business cards clinicians. They are basically changing your insurance for services not rendered Terrible establishment

One star all cause khalia or however the hell you spell her name that does “health monitoring” has no manners, is very rude, and has no idea how to talk to patients, she will hang up on you as you speak and ask her questions. If you get out on her schedule request someone else 😃 -Marisa Lindholm
