If you are looking for a bible believing and preaching church, this may be the one for you. Pastor Jesse has a passion for the Lord and it shows in his preaching & teaching. In a bigger church like this, it is very important to get plugged in to a Life Group. There you will get to know people and have a group of people that you can learn, fellowship and grow with. Helps you to get to know others on a deeper level. I highly recommend that you come visit and see for yourself if WCBC feels like "home".
I go to this church every week and, let me just say, that the church is were my life is!
My experience with this school has been incredibly frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to call over the past two months and several visits where no one answered the door, I finally managed to tour the school. However, they told me to come back later, only to inform me that all seats were full when I returned. Additionally, the interaction with Ms. Kerry was particularly disappointing; her attitude was unprofessional and condescending. I’m relieved that my child didn’t get admitted here, as this experience makes me question how they would have treated my child.Not recommended at all .
We moved to the area nearly ten years ago looking for a church. Honestly, we had reservations at first because of the profile the church presents as you drive by. The campus is large and for good reason. We knew we'd found a church home when we first visited and many families before and since have felt the same way. Jay Gross is an incredible pastor to the church, the community and works to spread good news to as far as we can reach. Mission opportunities abound often in the small group settings.
Christmas Live Nativity: The person directing traffic was nice when we tried to come to the live nativity drive through, but he didn't understand the question about whether they were at their maximum (they were). We had to leave the wrong entrance, try to follow a long line of cars to the end, only to see the sign blocking us from entry. (We had car trouble with one vehicle or would have been there earlier.) I also attempted to call this afternoon, and no one was available. I am sure the church is lovely but I recommend planning and calling well in advance to know the requirements for the Live Nativity.
