Every week one or both of my children are being sent home for something and they always state its a "DHS rule" and there hands are tied. The director states that it's not just "my children" who go home every week and it happens ro other families as well. I'm constantly missing work, on average to 30-40 hours a month, since I'm having to pick up my child/children and/or take them to urgent care. I have records all urgent care appointments, pediatrician visits, and time clocks stamps from leaving work frequently. They just started in mid February since then my children have been sick every week with ear infections, strep throat, high fevers, and puking. We now are scheduled to see an ENT due to my 3 year old having an ear infection since the end of Feburary after 4 antibiotics and one penicillin shot. I saw they had a DHS visit on 4/5/23, in the report it was stated that a lot of dirt, food, debris, etc... was on the floor. As well as the menu and snacks posted were not credible and serve choking hazards to the children. It is constantly hot inside the building, both of my children are hot, sweaty, and wet upon pick up. Today after 1 hour I was asking to picked up my 3 year old because he had a bm, it was loose and got everywhere. I'm not entirely sure how this happened and he is only having this problem at Daycare. I'm very concerned with the cleanliness of the center and quality of the food that's being served.
100% positive experience. From the staff to the leadership the communication about how my child is taken care of is never in question. It takes very special people to have the patience required to care for the very young. Our child can't wait to get ready for daycare every morning.
The employees were nice, but their board made a very sloppy mess of giving all of us part-time parents 1 week to find a new day care, which as anyone searching knows is not even close to enough notice. Not only that but if your child was part time there and wanted to go full time with this change they initiated. You were re-entered on a wait list.
