My family of 5 (two working parents and three teenage kids) have been coming to Wesley for about 4 years and love the soft, intimate, warm, and authentic congregation that is Wesley UMC. There are no fancy praise bands or packed pews, but there is a simple style that honors a traditional Methodist worship service where I meet God every week. Our Pastor gives her whole heart and self to the community. We have a robust Senior Adult ministry and a dynamic youth program which collaborates with three other UMC churches in the community to maximize youth participation (and FUN). There is a night time VBS and Appalachian mission project this summer. We are strong supporters of local nonprofits like CHO and the Lamb Center. Consider joining us this Lenten season.
This is a very nice church pretty close to water field, and I had a very fun time helping out here for my school community service. The staff and pastor are very nice, and the Church itself is big and spacious. The 2022 Easter was very fun to be apart of, and the church welcomes everyone. There are also livestreams of the worship every Sunday on their website.
A loving congregation that welcomes all of God's creation. The pastor there is so kind and genuine. She made us feel so loved.
