Welcome manor changed the entire direction of my life! They helped me start the process of getting my son diagnosed with autism. I fought everything at first and had nothing but bad things to say about this place, and then I had a breakthrough. I surrendered to the process. The counselor I had cared so much as to listen to me rant about how I was better than everyone else and had checked myself in and didn’t need to be there for 3 hours. Then she asked me well then why am I even here? Because I needed help. The walls came down and my anger resided. My experience there after did a complete 180! I followed the rules, i was engaged in the classes, and I let go of control. I was blessed with a whole new perspective. It was the hardest and yet most rewarding experience I’ve ever been through and I would do it again if I had to! I would highly recommend! I’ve never followed through on anything in my life. Graduating welcome manor after 196 days was the happiest and most successful days of my life! *p.s. this was 3 years ago and I met my still going strong best friend there, and even though she lives 4 hours away we are SO close and visit each other a couple times a year! That’s all thanks to welcome manor!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I am beyond thankful for Wellcome manor and their staff! I don’t think this facility/program is getting the credit it deserves! 😉 I personally and whole heartedly believe that your time here or at any treatment facility for that matter fully depends on YOU and the work and honesty you put into your recovery. No facility or program is perfect. You’re not going to like everyone inside the facility, whether it is a peer or a staff member. We are human, we weren’t made to click with everyone and everything! There will be some rules or restrictions in place that you won’t like, I know I didn’t like all of them but that’s life and if I’m going to be quite honest, we are addicts. We NEED these rules and restrictions because again, we are ADDICTS. 🤦🏽‍♀️ If you don’t surrender and don’t allow yourself to trust the process and don’t actually HEAR what the staff is teaching you, then I would hope that you would agree that you’re the only one to blame for your experience. Even though being inpatient was uncomfortable at first, once I surrendered and trusted the process, I took FULL advantage of the fact that I, in a way got to press the pause button on normal life stressors and struggles. I got to focus strictly on me and only me for the FIRST time in my life WHILE I had my 3 younger babies with me. I had a roof over our heads, food was made for us, routine set in place, staff to help guide us with whatever we needed and etc all pretty much under one roof! Words can’t even begin to describe the gratitude I feel towards Wellcome manor and the staff. They believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. On my hard days, they were patient with me. They were hard on me when I needed it. They helped me hold myself accountable. They spoke life back into me when I was convinced I was permanently dead inside. They helped me become a more patient attentive mother. They helped me and gave me the space to bond with my children on a level so deep, I didn’t know it existed. 🩶 I graduated a year ago in September 2024. I still have a long ways to go, but I wouldn’t be where I am today without Wellcome Manor as a WHOLE but I personally want to give a shout out to my therapist Angie, my Counselor Caitlin, my treatment coordinator Marni, and the parent educator Megan. These four impacted my life in away I will never ever forget and forever will be so thankful for! Also, Shannon needs her own shout out! With her creativity, amazing parent aides, and her silly personality she helped make core memories for myself and my kiddos to remember for a lifetime with the events she planned!

This place changed my life. I came from prison pregnant and broken. The staff is amazing. They are always willing to talk and listen to you. They are supportive and understanding I would suggest this place for any mother trying to better themselves for there children it gave me the self confidence and the ability to believe in myself and my ability as a mom. I am forever grateful for every staff member and many of the clients I met along the way.

A family member was at this facility and management was all over the place I did about ten or eleven visits I made a report and Jess called me back but no call or follow up from Karen the center director at each visit there were several different workers checking me in some were nice some were horrible they were all over the place one person would do it one way then the other person would do it another way and one worker said if you don’t like it you can leave real professional and on one visit I got to visit her for 15 min because she went into the bathroom when I was in there and they even had the door propped open so unfair I drive a hour and 15 min to this place and not to mention the reports that they document on these clients so unfair and not true do places like this even help clients ever since my family member has gotten into the system it seems so corrupt and broken from the police report and cps all the way down the line and do any of them care obviously not I doubt that very many families are ever bought back together it seems like the state just wants to make money off these kids until everyone is exposed her little boy even got abused while in the care of his dad where was cps when this happened justice will happen with this case if it’s the last thing we do and to all the employees that were nice thank you treat people how you want to be treated and to the clients follow up on everything and hold everyone.accountable for there actions

TERRIBLE place to go to treatment. The counselor that I had at the time was pregnant and she was not doing very much work. I felt like they were keeping me in phase 1 for way too long. It was not a good experience. No phones, and only 20 minutes of phone time really sucked. It was lame. You don't go on trips anywhere or anything. You're basically just kind of stuck there for 5 or 6 months or longer. There are a few staff members that were amazing, and those were the "on floor" staff who watch everyone all day and work in the front and stuff. They were great and super supportive. I had an emergency where my baby needed care and they were all super great and supportive. My counselor was great too, however she denied putting me through phase 11 because I was missing classes, but I missed classes because I was sick. I just had a baby and I was anemic and going through a lot of spells where I would be passing out a lot and stuff. It sucked. I was bleeding way too much, but that was not my fault. After 3 months of my counselor keeping me in Phase 1 I decided to leave and go to a different treatment. They allowed me to go through everything I needed to do that I was able to transfer, and so I did. It should not have came down to that! Ever! But they are great that they allow multiple children in their program. I am in need of program now that would allow multiple children, but unfortunately there is not very many.. :(
