When they say a “mother’s intuition” it is not something to be taken lightly. DO NOT send your child to Wee Wisdom Childcare. There were some red flags for me as a parent and I began to look deeper. A staff from that daycare center had told me my child was being aloud to cry for hours at a time and staff are lying to parents about how much their child had had to eat that day. I showed up unexpectedly at noon to pick my son up. He was extremely lethargic and not acting like himself. One of the staff told me he had drank his breastmilk bottle that I had prepared and sent with him to drink at 8:30 this morning. She even wrote on the paperwork he had drank it. I sent with him 7 ounces of breastmilk . A 6 ounce formula & an 8 ounce formula. He had not drank ANY of his bottles. My child has his bedtime bottle at 7:30pm and does not have another one until he wakes up which is at daycare at 8:30 am. This means my son had not had anything to drink since 7:30 pm. There is NO way he was not showing signs of hunger. When I picked him up he drank 12 ounces , he was STARVING. Even worse, when I called the director she stated that at 11 he was drinking his breastmilk bottle.. if that is true that means he was being offered an expired sour bottle! ( in which he did not drink because it still says 7 ounces like it did this morning) I haven’t worked in a daycare in a few years so maybe it may have changed but I also thought all bottles need to be labeled with the child’s name and time written on it. These were not. I am absolutely disgusted.
This place is awful. The director does not care about workers/kids/parents. I had to have my husband calm me down when I finally took my kid out of this hell hole. Do not take your kids to this place.
Staff is super attentive!
