What Parents Say
Wee Hours Child Development Center receives mixed reviews with strong polarization. While some parents praise the director and teaching staff as caring and dedicated, multiple negative reviews raise serious concerns about inconsistent policy enforcement, sanitation issues, health/safety practices including sick children attending, inadequate supervision, and unprofessional management that blocks communication with parents.
i agree w/ a reviewer who says the worker let their sick kids attend that daycare but force other parents to pick up their own children. when my child went here and had allergies, their staff harrassed me telling me i had x amount of time to pick up my child-when i worked 4 cities away!! also-they say no snacks brought into daycare. my child has had her snacks thrown away because they weren't allowed, yet the daycare workers let their kids bring Takis and other stuff. owner/director, whoever were nice only sometimes. other times, they seem annoyed when you call or ask questions. place always smelled of dirty diapers too. never again
My son went to daycare here teachers are great but the director is shady. If she gets tired of answering your questions or doesn’t like your response she just blocks you. The daycare in my experience is extremely unreliable changing rules on the fly and expecting parents to adhere to extreme changes or to look for a new daycare with little to no logical reasoning behind most of it and no chance of discussion. It’s like They love to get paid for as little work as possible and do not empathize the situations they continually put parents in and to top it off they apparently have dhs breathing down their neck due to sanitation issues and being unable to differentiate sick kids from kids that have allergies. Do not recommend. There are better daycares for the same price. Reliability and a sanitary environment are a must for peace of mind with our children
My child has only been going to Wee Hours for about a year but we followed the director from another location after that location sold. The director is exceptional. She goes above and beyond to make sure my child and all the other children are taken care of. If you are looking for a warm and welcoming center this is the place that you would want your child to go.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DAYCARE. I get that it’s rough being a parent in Cabot and this could be the only option you have but TRUST ME. Stay away! I believe that this daycare allows their kids(5) to come in sick and get other children sick. They then force those parents to bring their kids home when they get sick. I understand there are DHS guideline but I believe that their own children are sometimes the issue. They have their “policies and procedures”, for example, they say they help potty train your child, but I don’t believe they actually spend time with the children to help them learn. I asked them the process and when we’re at home trying to train her as well, we just do not see that any of the training is actually being done. Not saying a daycare is suppose to potty train the kids of course! The inside of the place looks pretty run down and the toys are charity given and in rough shape. I am very sad we allowed our child to go there as long as we did but it’s hard being a parent in Cabot and spots get filled so fast. Our child since going there has learned to bite and hit other kids(which does not happen at home and it’s so confusing to hear from them that this is happening) and then as they continue to let this get worse in daycare. They start making us pick her up the second a kid is hit. They do not have proper staff to be able to adequately care for you child. Our other child who we took out said it smells bad and there and that the people in there were not very nice. Also she mentioned that she has overheard her own teacher at school talking about this place and she had bad experience as well. Take what you want from this post overall. But I’d seriously consider checking a Jacksonville or Beebe daycare if you live in Cabot.
The teachers are amazing here they are so sweet and actually care about the kids. My son is always so excited for school.
