What Parents Say
Wee Care CDC in Irmo receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from most parents, who praise the caring staff, educational curriculum, and safe environment where children are happy and engaged. However, a small number of parents report concerns about staff changes, lack of visible educational activities, unexplained rate increases, and alleged unprofessional conduct by teachers.
I brought my daughter to this daycare in February 2022 when she was 3 years old, after many bad experiences with her former daycare. I’m so happy every single day that I found your daycare for my daughter. I like the fact that every child is taken good care of everyday. My daughter is always excited to come in every single day. When she in the full day program, her educational needs were met and was well taken care of too. Now she’s in the after school program and she’s having a great fun and learning, she loves her daycare and her friends and her teachers. Thank your Ms. Greene, Aunty Nikka and all other wonderful staff members of Wee Care! Ms. Greene I believe you brought a lot of changes to this daycare and we the parents love you. You are truly what your name says…” Wee Care”!!! I recommend this day care to anyone looking for a place where their child can learn and still have so much fun same time.
I cannot express how much I adore the team at Wee care in Irmo. My daughter has been attending since she was 11 months. She is now 3 years old. The teachers care about the kids and families they do everything to ensure their safety and well-being. They provide an incredible curriculum and my daughter has flourished well beyond our expectations. They take the time to work with each child and create fun lesson plans to engage the kids. Every day we drop them off there are never tears! The entire team from the Director MS. Greene to Taylor and Kemori they go above and beyond. I trust them 100% and know that they treat our kids with the utmost respect and caring that we could ever ask for.
If I could give this daycare 0 stars I would . First off I loved this daycare for my girls . They enjoyed it and wanted to come even on the weekends . I was happy to see that daycare was a happy place for them . What I don’t like is they will call you to tell you something about your child then call DSS & make up aligations about you and give you a whole case . I don’t recommend this daycare & let’s not start on how these teachers talk to certain kids . The babies as well . The list goes on . Please watch who you let keep ya kids . It may seem like a very comfortable place for your kids but they surely know how to put on an act just to collect a check .
We absolutely LOVE Wee Care for my son. He has made great friends, loves to be there, and they are so patient with him. It didn't work out at another after school program and we are so lucky to have found Wee Care.
My daughter went to WeeCare for 2yrs. It started out okay, it was not the WeeCare I remembered when my son attended however it was familiar and I decided to let my daughter attend, while I believe she was in a safe environment I feel that for the weekly rate which increased she was not being educated at all. Teachers literally changed from month to month. Directors changed and parents were not even formally introduced to a new director, advised of their credentials or anything. My daughter never brought any type of art work home or anything showing activities during the day. The summer rate for (at the time she was 2) increased for no reason. She was not of age to be taken any where for summer activities and I seen no proof of any additional indoor activities to justify the rate increase during the summer only for Sept to come and the summer rate became the regular rate. Their attendance rate dropped drastically which account for the rate increase. Needless to say I removed my child from the center and wouldn't recommend them.
