This is to Dr Andy Hatton , Our NEW Findlay city schools superintendent. This is about school delays and cancellations on January 19th 2024. 3-4 inches of snow fell overnight with blowing and drifting snow through out the WHOLE Findlay area which put us under a level 1 snow emergency. All other schools in our area closed and our NEW superintendent who has a Doctor degree THINKS that it is not enough snow to close Findlay city schools . ?Does Andy take in consideration that some kids have to stand and walk in this weather ? Not taking inconsideration the bus drivers that have to drive in this mess ? In my opinion, By this decision, our superintendent does not take in consideration the SAFETY of the kids and bus drivers . Yes things might turn out good TODAY with no accidents or issues for the kids in Findlay BUT it only takes ONE TIME for a mishap to occur. I hope you( Andy )are ready to take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for your actions ? Is our children's lives worth you taking a roll of the dice so you can fill your classrooms or the safety of our kids and bus drivers? For having a doctor’s degree , you do not have ANY common sense. All that knowledge you spent on your education to me is worthless if common sense is not applied. I have worked with people like you in the US military and at Cooper tire that have degrees and some of the highest education you can get and these people don’t have the common sense to blow their nose . What a shame !!!!! I just hope that nothing bad happens to ANY CHILD OR BUS DRIVERS ON YOUR WATCH because of your senseless decisions . With all this being said, good luck to ALL of our students and bus drivers in the future and remember students , all of your knowledge doesn’t have to come from a book to be successful in life . Our son is enrolled in Northview Elementary and has been since K and would like to say that we are so impressed with Mr. Payne, the principal, Mrs. Miller and Miss Apple, kinergarten and 1st grade teachers respectively. These folks truly care about their kids and would like to say thank you. We love the school and everyone's enthusiasm! You've been great!

Food low-key not even good:/ them dry chicken sandwichs tho are bomb as frick. Most teachers don't know that they are there to teach and others are just rude except for maybe 5 total good teachers who were fired for dumb reasoning.

My granddaughter has been bullied for 2 years now and all the district does is sweep it under the rug. I'd never put my kids in a district like that!!!
