Warren W. Cherry Preschool

I am the mom of one Cherry graduate and one current Cherry student and we absolutely love this pre-school. The staff genuinely care about all the children and treat them as they would their own. My kids have always come home with stories of creative, varied projects they have done and interesting discussions they’ve had in their class. We’ve also done the lunch bunch program which is a great way for kids to mix with other children in the school and make even more friends. There is a wonderful sense of community at Cherry which is really special.

We have been a Cherry Preschool family for the last three years, and we are so grateful for the loving and individualized care they have provided our children. Every single staff member is warm, thoughtful, and kind. You can tell they are passionate about the work they do and genuinely thrilled to see the kids arrive each morning. Our children have very different temperaments and learning needs. They have both been welcomed with open arms by the Cherry teachers, administrators, and aides who have taken an interest in understanding them and connecting with them. The Cherry teachers have always communicated well with us and collaborated with us/ our children's external supports to make adjustments in the classroom as needed to help our children thrive. Cherry offers a wide variety of learning opportunities, activities, music, and lots of opportunities for play. We've met so many wonderful fellow parents at Cherry, and we are so appreciative of all Cherry does to build a real school community. Our eldest transitioned easily to kindergarten with the school routines he learned at Cherry. Our youngest runs to Cherry every day eager to get to his classroom and now even asks for us to play "Cherry" at home!

We love Cherry! Our son is in his second year there, and we’re so happy we chose this preschool. The staff and teachers genuinely care about each kid’s (and parent’s!) needs and interests. They’re super communicative and make us feel so comfortable and confident, knowing that our son is in good hands every day. I can’t recommend Cherry enough to other parents!

Home away from home! I couldn't be happier with my experience at Cherry! Cherry has been our first preschool experience and it will be the only preschool we need for our 2 kids. From the first day we reached out to Cherry to schedule a visit, we just knew it was "home". Cherry has an unbelievable reputation and deserves every ounce of it. The administration is welcoming, thoughtful, and they truly represent the best leadership qualities you could ask for. The administration has poured their hearts and souls into Cherry and the children are the benefactors of that love every day. Our son began his preschool journey in the 3s program and is now into 2nd year. His first teachers will forever hold a place in our hearts as they helped us navigate a truly scary and unexpected health scare during his first year. The entire Cherry community showed up in incredible ways for our family and we are forever grateful for the unbelievable amount of support that was given to our family. Our son has forged some incredible bonds with his classmates and teachers that make your heart burst with love. As new parents the transition from having your baby with you all day every day to being gone to preschool for 2 hours can seem like a big jump (for everyone). The Cherry teachers met our son with amazing patience and compassion whenever separation anxiety popped up. They knew exactly what he needed and he ALWAYS greeted me at the end of every school day with a GIANT smile. His love for Cherry grew every day which led us to want him to have even more time and experiences there. We ended up enrolling him in 2 different add on programs offered by Cherry. The first add on was "Magic Monday". Our son loves routine and we knew adding in one more day (in addition to the 3 days per week regular program) would be nothing but helpful for him. The second program we later added was the "lunch bunch" program. On those days he was at Cherry from 9:25 to 2:15 and got to eat lunch with a few of his other classmates and teachers. The ability to extend and enrich his time at Cherry is a complete game changer for us! The programs are flexible and can work with any schedule - I think these programs are truly a hidden Cherry gem more people need to know about! Needless to say, we could not wait for our 1.5 year old daughter to get the same Cherry experience so we eagerly enrolled her in the Signing Sprouts program that meets once a week for 90 minutes (with a caregiver) to help prepare her for the 3s program. She loves being in the same room her big brother was in and I love that she's already being exposed to Cherry teachers, students, methodology and play based curriculum. The Cherry environment is truly a home away from home and I could not be more proud to be a part of it.

We love Cherry! I have one Cherry graduate who is now in 2nd grade and one child currently at Cherry. My 2nd grader started at Cherry during the pandemic. All of the staff did an amazing job at safely welcoming back our children into the classroom, which was so important for some normalcy during that crazy time. And now my youngest is in his second year at Cherry and he is so happy there. The teachers and staff are all so loving and welcoming. His teachers from last year still give him big hugs when they see him! Very happy to be part of the Cherry community!
