However, four parents gave 1-star ratings citing serious concerns including unlocked facility doors, inadequate supervision, safety incidents, illness outbreaks, unprofessional staff behavior, and allegations of fraud and mistreatment.
I honestly don’t understand why this school has such a low rating. My son has been attending for a month now, and so far, the experience has been excellent. I have no complaints about Miss Linda or any of the teachers. It’s a small school, yes—but the love and dedication of the staff truly stand out. For now, my son is happy there, and as parents, we are too 🙂.
Miss Linda and her team of educators and care-givers are wonderful. I am grateful for my son getting more outdoor play time now, no screen time, and healthy, balanced meals each day at school. He is safe and loved there; highly recommend!
Professional, clean, and loving. The staff and director are absolutely wonderful and you can tell they really nurture the children and care. I am a type A helicopter mom and have been so impressed how this daycare has cared for my infant. They provide a daily report so I know exactly how much he ate and slept and tummy time etc. I call every day and check on my son and they are always so kind about it. We toured almost every daycare in the area and this was by far the BEST. Love love love it!
I took my twin 5 month olds here for about a month (maybe a little longer) Let me start by saying the doors to the facility are NEVER locked. You can walk into the facility at any time without entering a passcode. Everything started out well but became concerning over time. one of my boys was CONSTANTLY sick. He contracted virus after virus on top of EColi. My other son came home with new scratches every day. One being so bad they called me & told me they had to fill out an accident report for it. I picked him up that day & was quite concerned/alarmed at the size of the scratch on his forehead. The only time my son gets angry enough to scratch himself is when his cries have been ignored for a good amount of time. I let that go, said they were probably busy & couldn't tend to him at that exact moment. Since then his behavior has changed. When he gets hungry or fussy at home he immediately goes into full blown screaming. Almost like that's the only was his cries are ever answered. Yesterday (7/2/2024) I dropped my kids off. I went back to my car to get their bottles and bring them back in. Upon coming back in the building, I heard my son crying from the infant room. I went to the room to see what was happening & he had rolled to his belly & had his leg twisted/stuck in the crib rails while the teacher was in the corner ignoring him. I had to help my son get his leg unstuck. Later that morning i returned to pick my other son up for a doctors appt. Upon entering the room to get him I saw that there was only one teacher in the room with probably 10 plus kids. The teacher was in the floor feeding one of my sons while the other was in the swing screaming. The swing was not turned on. I witnessed this teacher reach up & grab the seat of the swing & push it with so much force that the entire swing moved backwards while telling my son to "be quiet & swing". I immediately pulled both boys out & informed them that they would not be returning. I don't believe the teacher meant any harm to my baby...I believe she was just overwhelmed by the number of kids she was taking care of by herself.
The teachers and director are very kind and loving with the kids. My kids have progressed through three different classes in the time that we’ve been there and have thrived in each room. We’ve built a strong trust with this school which makes sending our kids to their care easy, knowing they are learning through play and thoughtful lessons.
