I had my kids in the head-star program from 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 it was helpful but not as we expected, it's only couple hours in the morning, everything was fine for the 1st year mainly because teachers and staff worked to do their best. But this school year all the teachers & staff was changed and it's been a terrible experience now starting with the person in charge. I'm pretty sure she has lots of personal issues, she is always mean, has a horrible hostile attitude, always intimidating and looking for any pretext to threaten people of being kicked out of the program.

Before I rolled him, I asked if they took children with autism, and they said yes, he will be assessed and transferred with the district but meanwhile he can attend their school until it is complete. If your child has autism, does do not take your child here. My son has low level autism, and the site coordinator was very rude and called my babysitter instead of me to pick him up because he was not napping and disturbing the other students when I told them he has trouble sleeping, and we’re taking naps as many children with autism do, she was yanking him by the arm and he was scared of her. She said somethings wrong with him. All he does is cry. He didn’t talk much so that was frustrating for them. For the end of the year western theme celebration we bought him an outfit and we watched virtually as they performed and they did not include my son. It was not until I said on the chat. Where is my son? That they let him go. There were holding him down on the teachers lap I could slightly see in the background corner of the video. I also witnessed the site coordinator being very rude to her staff it was very unprofessional.

Great Headstart. The site supervisor is amazing and makes you feel like family the way she cares for the children and parents. Highly recommended to start your children’s education.

I had my son enrolled here and I had to pull him out, the school director isn't patient with the kids and was constantly sending my son home because he had " a runny nose"...im sure she remembers me quite well since I went in there and screamed at her in front of everyone and that was the last day my son ever stepped foot in that facility.
