Horrible horrible experience, we fell short on a few bills and rent we reached out to the homeless and assistance program met with Charles Beemer, his manger is Erika Belvin. They took forever to follow through with the assistance. They don't communicate and we have several emails that Erika is on asking the process of the program and act like she was scared to answer us. We had to keep submitting the same info bc Charles would misplace the info. It took us months and months to get the assistance and I everyday I was getting a $5 fee charge. He had no idea what he was doing. They are very unorganized and need structure. I understand everybody is busy but we have to send multiple emails and phone calls when we don't hear anything for like a whole week. This process tool months and I almost was evicted twice playing around with this so called assistance. The total dropped thr ball. They need a better system for sure! And more qualified workers
The woman who answer the phone is very rude very argumentative I asked a question she wants to tell me what she feel she need to tell me I do not have hiv/aid but she felt the need to tell me repeatedly that was apart of the program so I ask do I have to have hiv for me and my children to get help she said no this is not a shelter in the beginning of the phone call I said I was told to give you all a call about resources because I’m homeless and I know this is not a shelter… the common sense on your employer half was below zero…people are really having a hard time and to call and have to deal with A do as I say or get hung up on type of person is heart breaking I have four children and just rather keep sleeping in my car then to deal with her again even asking for a supervisor she stay silence and ask are u going to listen even after listening I ask can I just come and file a complaint her reply no u can’t get in without a appointment or a case worker
