What Parents Say
VOCEL appears to be a support organization for new and young mothers rather than a traditional daycare center. Reviews consistently praise the comprehensive services provided, including housing assistance, job training, educational support, and baby supplies, along with a clean and welcoming facility.
This place is amazing! Becoming a new mother can be a scary and confusing time for a new mother; especially if she doesn't have a good support system. That's where New Moms come in. Everything a new mother needs, be it housing, food, special care services, etc., New Moms have available. If you can, please consider donating to New Moms. I know I will. ππΎβ₯οΈ
This program does not help you in any way especially if you speak up for yourself they'll give your apartment to someone else moving out after you. It's not a guarantee that they'll help you with housing or any subsidies. Go there if you need a place to stay as far as shelter but you have to do majority of the foot work on your own although you'll have a technical pbv under CHA and Recieve a voucher number starting with the letter "g" which means government and qualify for low income they wait until you start making money to.claim you don't qualify for anything. Wouldn't recommend for someone who needs honest help
As a social service worker who had the privilege of seeing first hand the work this organization does for young women I was nothing but 100% impressed. All such organizations should be as hands on uplifting and supportive in all the right ways like this place.
This pace is a fraud. Chicago ave Austin is experiencing a come back and this place is allowing these young girls who are neeed for help to drag their children up and down Chicago ave causing a uneeded standing around ,foul language under dressed atention we have been trying to get rid of . What purpose do they serve housing and feeding women who stand around with crying children.
I love the way they helping new mom's out with getting jobs and furthering their education and with baby from baby showers and providing them with baby bucks to buy things from baby strollers on down to baby wash as well as household products
