Voa Grantee/Pierce Park Head Start

I’ve lived in the townhomes on Carl St for 10+ years and it’s been a constant problem with the tenants at pierce apartments. We are sick of it! My 10 year old son was playing with his ball on our side, but like many times, he accidentally threw the ball over the fence and two teenage boys about 13-15 years old picked it up. My son kindly asked if they could return the ball and these two individuals decided to be BULLIES and proceed to tell him “this ball is ours now”. So of course my child came inside the house, crying to tell me the situation. So I go outside and see both of these teenage boys and say “Excuse me.” They ignore me and keep walking as they’re holding the ball in one hand. “Excuse me??” Still no answer. “EXCUSE ME!” As they continued walking and ignore me completely. They finally turn around to say something, which I could not understand. When I ask them to get closer so I can hear, the boy turns around and dumps the ball in a huge blue recycle bin without remorse. They absolutely did not care to bully a 10 year old. Shows the kind of parents that raised them. Went to complain to Pierce apartment offices and they really chose not to do anything about it! My brother ended up going over to retrieve my child’s ball from the bin. Why do we need to deal with this?! Why can’t we be adults and raise our children to be nice and have manners?! We have suffered from these tenants throwing eggs at our homes, glass bottles, yogurt, lots of things. We’ve been afraid for our lives when shootings have been involved in these apartments. I don’t get it. They have a long waiting list for people to move in, but they don’t even bother to analyze and carefully choose WHO they accept as tenants. You’re better off looking elsewhere to live, because you nor your family are safe at these apartments!

Came in here to see if they had any apartments open and to put my name on the list. my friend and I waited in the waiting area while they were in lunch. My friend and I were having a conversation. I guess we "we're to loud" one of the employees came out to tell us to keep it down. She said it so rudely and Disrespectful with attitude. She also gave us a Sperk. He had black hair Hispanic I'm assuming. After she walked back in we immediately left without saying a word to her. I don't know why she couldn't tell us nicely in a calm voice. But hey. She's probably on her period.

Love going back here. I use to be a resident here. Man do I miss the dedicated unsophisticated females that live there. There are a handful of low life dads that I know of out there who left their daughter without fathers and morals who I’d like to thank.

I would say if anything the Pierce Park apartments are not that bad if anything I would say that the parking lot the street is okay because that's really just a big thing for me if you can't have your friends stop by cuz I got to park down my street that's usually a let down but the place looks pretty clean and kept up if anything I would say it's okay to check out depending on the pricing
