Visions Of N. Baldwin Child Dev Center

My child loved visions and all of their teachers. She went to school with a HUGE smile every morning. This entire experience was unfortunate and could have been avoided. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR OWN MONEY!!! My husband participated in a grant that CCS gave law enforcement which ended 12-31-21. Beginning 1-1-22, we paid 3-4 weeks at a time so we were ALWAYS early. Linda, one of the owners, starts leaving me notes saying that we are late and owe her money. I asked for several printouts so that I could see because it's IMPOSSIBLE. I leave her a note along with a copy of every money order that we have purchased since 1-1-22. After a month or so, I get a note that states, we owe $250.20 from November 2021 which was covered under the grant. I asked the teacher to have the owner call me. Linda, the owner, literally yells through the phone that she doesn't care whether we pay or CCS pays but someone needs to pay. I mentally checked out. Fast forward to that afternoon, my husband goes to get our child and the young lady tells my husband Linda said we couldn't get our child until we paid $250.50. YOU READ THAT RIGHT! He got our kid and I text the lady told her that was a negative and withdrew my kid immediately. I contacted CCS and come to find out-- THE CENTER DID NOT SUBMIT THE CORRECT PAPERWORK IN ORDER TO GET PAID. CSS PAID HER $312.00 INSTEAD OF THE $250.50 she originally said that we owe. My child has been pulled out of a center that she loved and had her world completely turned upside down because this LADY does not know how to navigate the Childcare South or keep good records. My grandson has been there maybe two weeks now and is getting biten and no one seems to do anything about this child. Today he had 4 bites no call and nothing done. It's not only my grandson but this child has bit other children also. Personally if this was my business this mother would be called in to pick up her child and then asked to please not bring him bac!k!!!! I know the other day cares would!! So trying to talk my daughter into finding a new center

They decide to take days off (which you are still charged for) last minute instead of scheduling them in advance. They have a poor accounting methodology and get confused easily if you pay multiple weeks in advance. Its actually ironic that they are called Visions because they are in the service industry and do not even realize it...Delusions is perhaps more fitting. If you are a working professional that can't randomly take unexpected days off then this is not the service for you.

This is a wonderful place for children.
