The Village South 6 month program, it's structure, Milieu, Ofelia, Staff, Therapists: Lissette Migniano, and Psychologists: Dr. Lauffer saved my life. Thank you all for all you did for me.and my family. It takes having a Big heart and lots of patience to guide and direct an addict into leading a decent life. You got this. It does work if you work it. Surrender to your Higher Power, too. HE is calling YOU!🧭💖💖💖
The village is really helpful, even though I just started recently with Ms. Carolina and Ms. Mabel, I still quit weed and they are definitely one of the main reasons why I did, I apologized to Ms. Carolina for being under the influence of THC during one of our sessions, because she is trying to help me and it was very disrespectful of me. I would definitely recommend the program to other people they are REALLY good at what they do.
The Village caters the individualized treatment plans to help the individual with their specific needs . They're in the business of saving lives . They understood and knew my needs when I was incapable of recognizing the difference between my wants and needs and for that I'll always be grateful . They've given me all the tools and coping skills to enjoy a fruitful and productive life . Thanks for loving me when i couldn't love myself . God bless you guys
I was 22 and they had a program called women with children program in 1996.i was 8 and half months pregnant.i had my baby while i was there.i was court ordered on probation.the staff was mean and rude to me treated me like a fool.i was a young mother.they had a day care we had to put our infants in it every morning.after that all we did was sit around no groups nothing .they toulk all my food stamps and all my checks.made me structure for every thing.it was awfull.it got so bad i toulk a nervous break down.after six months i went home to be woth my mom. They are all about money and they abuse everyone.not a good place. Its a behavioral institution. I will never forget.
Great place to do your practicum or internship. Most of the staff is friendly and willing to assist you in anyway and most importantly, as a student getting into the mental health field you get plenty of experience. From what I've seen and encountered personally, therapist are very caring to their clients.
