Village Kids

I am writing to share how impressed we have been with our experience at this center. Firstly, I am so grateful to Ms. Tracy and Ms. Wanda for their dedication & ability to console the children and their genuine effort to understand each child's individual needs meant so much to us. Additionally, Ms. Sarah is a wonderful director, connects so well with the children and somehow remembers each of them by their names(superpower!!) and this attention highlights the staff's caring nature. As this was my child's first daycare, I was immediately reassured by the environment and felt confident leaving him in thjs daycare. Also truly appreciated the curriculum for the 2’s class and found the updates via the Kaymbu app to be very helpful. They have so many activities throughout the day which builds a routine. While we loved our time here, the commute became too difficult for us, and we decided to transition to a closer branch. But if someone lives nearby & wants to enroll this is highly highly recommended.

My nephews attends this preschool and we have been very pleased with his care. The teachers implement activities that are educational as well. We receive great communication and pictures of his daily activities. I would definitely recommend this preschool.

Cadence Academy has contributed so much to my son’s learning and communication. The teachers and directors have been great and supportive. I can not recommend them enough!

As our son gets ready to start kindergarten, we’re feeling a mix of excitement and sadness. Leaving Cadence Academy full-time is bittersweet because this place has been such a blessing to our family. I want to give a special thank you to Mrs. Lisa, our son’s preschool teacher. She has been truly amazing, her patience, love, and the way she connects with every child is something special. We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher to guide our son through these early years. We love her so much and are so thankful for everything she’s done. I also want to recognize Mr. Daniel, who has also been one of our son’s teachers. He and Mrs. Lisa make such a great team. You can tell they care deeply about the kids and work so well together to create a positive, supportive classroom. The staff overall has been wonderful. Mrs. Dorothy at the front desk is always helpful and kind, ready to answer any questions or concerns. And a special thank you to Mrs. Sarah the director, is nothing short of incredible. She listens, acts promptly on any concerns, and runs the facility with such care and professionalism. Her leadership shows in every detail. You can tell she truly cares and works hard to keep things running smoothly. We’ve had a great experience with every teacher and staff member. It’s clear that they genuinely love what they do and care for each child. We’re so grateful for the time our son has spent here. We’ll still be doing the after-school care program, so thankfully we’re not saying goodbye just yet! I’d recommend Cadence Academy to any family it’s been such a blessing, and we’ll come back if we ever need care again in the future. Thank you Cadence academy for everything! :)

I truly can’t say enough great things about Cadence Academy. Our daughter, Lily is in the NC Pre-K program here with Ms Diana & Ms Sylvia who are hands-down THE best - you can tell they truly love the kids & their job and are great at it. Everyday Lily looks forward to coming to school to see her friends & teachers, saying hi to the front desk staff who greet her & other kids by name every morning & then stopping to say hi to the fish in the fish tank. Not only are the teachers & curriculum great but their food is wonderful as well, cooked right there in the kitchen on-site and healthy (menus are available at the front desk every week). We also love that Soccer Shots is offered there - we’ve done a session in the fall and starting another session in March which Lily’s been looking forward to. We've been extremely pleased with how Cadence has handled their COVID response and has worked to keep their teachers, students, and families safe. There are many things outside of their control but the things they have been able to control (i.e. communication to families) has been wonderful. Ms. Anna is always quick to respond to emails and answer questions. I can always count on someone answering the phone, I'm always so amazed at how the staff know every family member and their care for the children shows in everything they do. We’re sad that they don’t have afterschool pickup from Summerfield Elementary but it is WELL worth the 20 minute drive for Pre-K - I’m so grateful to have kicked off her love for learning & academic career here at Cadence!
