Took a tour here and instantly knew that I wouldn’t be sending me kids here. Despite the new playground outside, the inside of this place looks like a homeless shelter. There are no classrooms (only makeshift, half walls) and there is no kitchen. I was told we would be required to send our kids to daycare with food packed but nothing that had to be warm. The lighting is dim and it looks dirty. Some friendly staff working but the majority looked unhappy. Somehow they’re still charging a weekly rate that is higher than Doodlebugs which makes no sense to me. I had a tour scheduled with the director but she ended up leaving as I was arriving to go to the bank? The assistant director seemed nice but didn’t have answers to most of my questions.

We have used this company since 2014, first in Greece and now in Victor. I cannot say enough good things about the facilities, curriculum, and most importantly the staff! To watch staff members grow from classroom teachers in 2014 to leadership positions in 2024 speaks to their dedication, motivation, and commitment to childcare. To be welcomed into the UPK program with smiles and patience and devotion to our son’s developing needs was much appreciated. I had complete trust and gratitude in his classroom teachers and director, Jess. You can tell they love their jobs, both by their energy in the day-to-day routine and the fun activities planned year round, such as national superhero dressup day to donuts with Dads. I also appreciate the company commitment to developing the building and installing the new amazing playground!

We moved to this town over a year ago and were truly blessed to find this daycare with availability. Our son had been with a babysitter at home, so finding such a welcoming place was a huge relief. From the moment we enrolled, we’ve always felt embraced by the warm environment. The teachers go above and beyond to keep the kids engaged, active, and most importantly, loved. While we miss our son's favorite teacher, Ms. Bri, he has adapted wonderfully to his new class, enjoying his new teacher and friends. Overall, we highly recommend this daycare. It’s been a fantastic experience for our family!

My children have been going to this day care since it opened up, I’ve had many bad experiences here. There was a young staff who use to work there but went off to college she was mean to the kids, & tried forcing my toddler to sleep. I told Mrs. Jessica my concerns, also I didn’t want the young lady working with my toddler. Mrs Jessica stated she understood and that the young lady wouldn’t be working in my toddlers room anymore, also that the young lady was leaving to college.. My oldest child told me she seen the young lady still working in my toddlers room. One day I walked into the young lady yelling at my 5 year old. I told her please don’t yell at my son. She caught an attitude with me & became argumentative. During the time of my concerns, they let the young lady slide and stay there because she was leaving for college soon. My oldest started telling me things she was seeing at the day care, I called CPS. The day care knew the things that were said came from my daughter.. so they started writing up every little thing she did, so they could find a reason to kick her out the day care.. At one point there were a lot of incidents sheets going home to many different, because they weren’t giving the big kids anything to do. my 2 year old fell down stairs that were in the class room.. there was this platform, you climb the stairs to play at the top, it was about 4 to 5 stairs. I told them the stairs made me nervous because, I know how unsteady toddlers can be, they reassured me everything would be ok.. then one day I get a call he fell down the stairs. My toddler shoes was always coming home on the wrong feet, it made me feel like no one was paying attention or cared enough to fix it. When I addressed the issue it was then fixed. Sometimes you come in and the kids are doing nothing, no education, just throwing toys around, & scrubbing across the floors. There’s a new teacher in the school age room, I don’t see her interacting with the kids. When there at the play ground, and she’s just sitting there watching. There’s no bathrooms in the classroom it makes it really hard for the teachers to do there job at times. They take the whole class routinely, but when a child have to go outside of that time frame, they have to call for someone to take them. So to potty train a child in this type of environment is difficult. Also I asked about my child’s classroom being dirty, I was told by the director Jessica they were having problems with the cleaning service and were addressing the issue.. But my thing is why aren’t the tables at least being clean after meals. I started bringing my sons cup home everyday, because it was not getting washed daily at day care, their was dirt all around his cup.. one day I was handed his cup, I asked if it was clean, was told yeah. Then I opened it, it had juice in it previously and smelled sour. I believe some of the teachers could use more help & more than just one teacher in the classroom. I don’t have a lot of family support, day care is my only child care option. I thought I wouldn’t be able to find any other day cares in the area with openings but I’ve been looking around & there is availability at other locations. I’m getting my kids out of victor “care-a lot” asap. The only positive thing I have to say is there are 3 teaches that I would give praise & a 5 star. Emily, Mrs. Vilmarie, & Mr. Tom.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this center! Our kids have been going here since before it was Care A Lot, and have loved it, and since the new name and change of ownership it has gotten even better. The staff are all amazing and have such love for all the kids. Will always recommend this center to friends and family.
