My child is now thankfully out of this child center but wanted to shed some light on a place that somehow gets good reviews. It made me sick sending my child there but for the temporary time being it was my only real option. The two ladies in the office are the most unfriendly people in the whole place. They never smile, never say hi, always seemed to be bothered. Not sure how they are the face of the organization. I don’t see them working with the kids often but when they are, they stand with hands on their hips, straight faced, no joy whatsoever. Some of the teachers seem unhappy, with very little enthusiasm with the exception of a few, one being Ms Jenna. She was always to sweet and caring towards my child and I was thankful for her. Everyone else sat on a phone or iPad, rarely even looking up at the kids. Place overall is old, dirty and worn. For months there was a streak of brown running down the wall to the basement, hopefully it was just mud, no one bothered to clean it. The basement consistently has a strong urine smell, with the occasional poop smell here and there. Lunch people would walk around in bare feet and socks, not sure of health protocols but that seems a bit unsanitary. The 4K program is wonderful with an amazing teacher, but this is through the mukwonago school district, not the child center so they must have higher standby, thankfully. I can’t really recommend the daycare part of the establishment but if you’re only going for 4K, your child will be in better hands.

Our toddler daughter has some special feeding concerns and VCDC it was the first daycare center that was willing to work with us regarding this. The staff has been incredibly responsive and kind, and it’s apparent that they love the children. They have been able to remain open through Covid and, although I know they are struggling with all that that brings, everyone has been understanding, flexible, and communicative. The play area outside is huge, and the center simply has a very comfortable, small town feel. The change in our daughter from the structure, play, and exposure to other kids is incredible - I’m so glad we choose this daycare!

I am exceptionally pleased with this child care center. They do such a great job of engaging the kids in a host of fun activities, including guest visitors (for example, they had a karate instructor come in the other day and show them some moves!) to outdoor water play, to arts and crafts that give the kids a take-home "toy" of their own design. The facility's general conduct is amazingly down-to-earth and traditional - which is something that seems lost on most day camps, and even most schools for that matter, this day and age! They have an on-staff Cook that prepares home cooked lunches for the kids every day! I mean, that's fantastic - who does that these days !?? :) And above all, our son and daughter look forward to going there. Our son especially gets super excited about the days he attends (he's only there part time), and he gets disappointed the days he doesn't get to go! So everyone from kids to parents seem to love this place. They're a bit pricey in my opinion, but then again you get what you pay for, so with that in mind, it's worth every penny. Highly recommended.

This childcare center was a blessing. We are very sad leaving it due to moving. The staff is so caring and treated our kids great. They are personal and accommodating on all levels. Our daughter wears a hearing aid and they were open to learning about how it works and what they should be looking for or doing with it. The people here make the center great.

My experiences with this daycare have been exclusively positive. The teachers have all been consistent and kind with my kids, while the admins have always been flexible, thoughtful, and great at communicating.
