We have been at VHFLC for the past 6 years and our kids have been through every stage of the program from infancy through pre-k and then into the school age aftercare program. The teachers are attentive and have a ton of tenure/stability and the kids have lots of time to play indoors and outdoors. Dan, the administrator, is wonderful and communicative and is consistently providing improvements to the program.
Prior to this summer the experience with VHFLC had been reasonable. After they lost the contract for after school with Portland Public the service fell off a cliff. The communication has been non-existent, my daughter wasn't happy, and they moved the last two weeks of summer camp to a park that is basically in Tigard and not near the families that use their services.
