What Parents Say
Verdugo Hills Family YMCA is a low-key facility praised for its clean, pleasant environment and attentive, friendly staff. The pool is a main attraction, though some concerns about cleanliness and maintenance have been raised. The facility offers good amenities including indoor/outdoor basketball and fitness equipment.
This YMCA constantly leaves their trash bins out in the middle of the street EVERY single trash day. Forcing drivers to avoid the right lane in the morning hours, and causing countless near accidents. Call your TRASH SERVICE and FIX IT!
Horrible customer service. Most employees would not support kids and would make it seem like their fault. Really bad at sending out information about important news like for example, if they’re closed for the day. Most kids felt unwilling to go. And for the bathroom are so dirty and crowded and kids left unsupervised. I would not recommend going to this ymca.
Pretty chill...nice. Good classes and facilities. But maybe the employees at the front desk shouldn't be discussing, LOUDLY, why they won't use the pool....isn't such a great idea. Sorta gives an impression the pool isn't clean. So apparently they would NOT swim in the pool, because of all the people/kids. I get that they are people with opinions and everything and thanks for the heads up your pool is filthy.
Front desk employee has 0 customer service at this verdugo hills location she doesn’t greet customers and not helpful at all.Just sit on a chair and do nothing. I asked for a membership card and facility schedule for classes and she answered me “you could have downloaded it from the website”.Wow.🤔 I came to take a tour and ready to use my membership but since I saw her attitude I cancelled my membership.
Nice quiet pool to visit with kids and family. The pool is not too deep but you can still relax in it. No diving/jumping is allowed. The limit per person is only 50 minutes for now. The life guards are very attentive and respectful.
