Beautiful worship building. Music awesome. Meaningful summons to touch the soul. Friendly people & lots of happy children. A great place to worship for ALL ages!
I grew up going to this church. Every one makes you feel like family. The sermons are fantastic and are not political in views. The pastors use real world examples in their sermons to help teach the sermon. This is a great church to bring your family they have a great nursery and Sunday school program their youth program is great as well for any teens you may have.
A vibrant church full of imperfect people trying to follow Christ, grow in faith, and serve our community and our world. The chapel, with its beautiful stained glass representing the heavens, is a wonderful setting in which to quiet one's heart and be awestruck with the vastness of God.
You will truly feel moved and inspired in an authentic way. VPC is comprised of a genuine, caring group of people that welcome you into their church in so many ways. Having grown up Catholic, we were looking for something less traditional and more relaxed. We wanted a community that maintained a consistent philosophy of treating people nicely while respecting and sharing individual pursuits of similar beliefs. Authenticity and agenda were vital to our expectations in a church community and VPC has that in droves. Further, we are highly supportive of independent thinking for ourselves and our children. We do not like the cult-like brainwashing that we have experienced at so many churches, it's a huge turn-off. VPC does none of that, they are truly a great community of loving people that will respect your personal journey of faith. The main Pastor is an extremely deep thinker who is highly educated and has worked on sharpening his brain his entire life. More uniquely, he maintains and cultivates an open mind on all topics and promotes that style of thinking in himself and his circle of influence. Kudos to the pastor and to all the truly wonderful teachers, managers, and administrators that each give 110% of themselves to the church and to our children (who attend the school) every day.... you are such an awesome group!
