Love this gym! Super nice staff. Amazing vibes. The pools and courts and weight rooms are already fantastic. I'm hoping they'll continue to expand and evolve offerings like yoga and rock climbing in the years to come.
Wonderful community center! Amazing sense of community and love with great machines and equipment. It’s clean and friendly. They are always running barbecues and events of appreciation for member. And it feels safe staffed with security and armed guards. Hard to believe this is necessary but glad they are keeping members safe. Amazing job they do at JCC!
This gym is not your typical gym. When I walked in I thought I was entering into a corporate office. The location was just huge and had a bit of a luxury touch. Outside, they had shaded parking and then walking inside you have to pass by the security and they also have one of those advanced temperature scanners. There were a lot of staircases and it can be easy to get lost. The great thing was the front desk security guy and the front desk lady were just so welcoming and kind and they were able to help me to find the place I needed to be at. You have to go up the stairs and then the workout equipment is along their 1-mile track which they have indoors. The selection of the workout equipment what not as large as you would see in LA Fitness but then again there weren't too many people in that gym so there was plenty of equipment to go around. They also have a huge pool outside. Very expansive facilities. You can also take exercise classes here which is what I did. The teachers are great and really care about their students and even did and help with posture and form corrections doing the class.
Unfortunately the group fitness classes rarely ever change. Same old tired schedule. It's not a surprise that the demographics caters to a much older crowd.
We've had a family membership for about 3 years now and we love the J! We're not jewish, but we've always felt welcome and have made great friends there. We enjoy being part of the community and often take advantage of their fun events and kids programs. My husband and I have even been able to get in better shape because their gym is well equipped and their group classes are awesome. Their instructors are definitely of a higher level than any other gym I'd been a member of before, so working out doesn't feel like a drag. Very happy with our membership overall!
