We feel incredibly blessed to be part of this school community. Both of my sons have attended since preschool, and it’s especially meaningful to me because I also went here as a child. Being able to watch my boys grow and learn in the same place that shaped so many of my own memories has been truly special. The teachers and administrative staff are consistently communicative, supportive, and genuinely caring. They take the time to know each student and make families feel included and heard. There is a strong sense of partnership between home and school, which makes a big difference. Parent involvement is encouraged and welcomed. While volunteer hours are required, they are easy to fulfill and there are plenty of opportunities to participate. The school offers enriching field trips, access to computers and technology, healthy lunch options, and a variety of sports programs. There is truly something for every child’s interests, and my boys especially love the athletics and hands-on activities. Overall, this school provides a well-rounded, nurturing environment that supports both academic growth and character development. We are grateful to be part of such a positive and dedicated community.
This environment and VCS are truly valuable to our community. Having a place that offers small class sizes, where students receive the attention they need, is incredibly meaningful. The school’s strong focus on academics stands out, and I deeply appreciate that the men and women who coach our athletes love the Lord and honor God in everything they do. It is significant for our community to have a school that supports students both academically and spiritually.
Our grandkids have been at Vacaville Christian Schools (VCS) for eight years now, and I can’t imagine a better place for them. The teachers are just wonderful – they really care about the kids and take the time to make sure they feel supported. It’s not just about grades here; they teach the kids how to be good people and how to treat others with kindness. There’s so much they get to do at VCS, from sports to music to fun events, and the kids are always excited about what’s going on. The school has such a warm and friendly vibe, and we always feel welcome when we visit. It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for VCS. It’s been such a huge blessing for our family, and we’ve seen how much our grandkids have grown because of it. It’s just a really special place.
My children are finally out of this school and I can place an honest review. My oldest lasted 3wks here. My youngest was 18m while we waited for an opening at her sister's charter school. Do not let these people fool you. We were new to the area and came from a poor public school system/amazing private school out of state. We said "we will never send our kids back to public". What a mistake that was. This school does not follow state laws for educator hiring or certifications. Many of their educators have NO DEGREE AT ALL. Students are bullies and the behavior is allowed to happen unchecked. Even worse, some of the educators are bullies! The facilities were awful (leaking roofs, unreliable heat/AC). They have some cool programs, but THE BASIC STEM CURRICULUM/ certified teachers just were not there when we were. This place was one of our biggest mistakes. Of note- my child had zero disciplinary issues here or problems personally with being bullied, but she came home and told us about it. She asked to change schools after 3wks and the couple of friends she made there followed suite shortly after. My other unfortunately had to stay for over a year and that child was behind when we finally got her out. If you are sending solely for the purpose of religious education, this might be a good fit. It was easy to register and withdraw. Otherwise the public school and charter schools in the area are far superior.
My son has been going here for 3 years now in the high school the principal will not return emails the vice principal will not return emails the teachers all are too good to to return emails the swim coach is biasd plays favorites she's not a good person this school only cares about money. They do not care about what's best for the child. They take sides against 2 parent household's. Will always side with the mother no matter what. I have nothing good to say about this school if you don't care about you're kids send them here.
