I’ve been talking to Laura since April 2025 to help with my home delinquency. She had me fill out paper work complied with all that she asked for. I got notice in November my house was up for foreclose and the sale date was 2/25/26 Laura advised me in January 2026 that I can come up with 7,000 and the grant would pay 8,000. I came up with the money and on 2/17/26 I contacted Laura Laura stated my grant didn’t go through. God bless her soul. How could you possibly have contact with me all these months and nothing get fixed. Don’t fall for any lies. I pray that she never has to go through this. Now figuring out with only a week left on what can I possibly do. I thought that’s what hud counselors are for to help not to screw you over.

I've had plenty of experience dealing with local councils of government. UAACOG in Fremont County, Colorado is a great organization. They really care about our area (along with Chaffee, Custer, and Lake Counties!) and help bring us all together. From helping businesses to looking after our community, they've got our back. If you haven't checked them out yet, you should. They're here to help!
Great organization working to promote economic vitality in the Upper Arkansas region.
