We love PLUM! Beautiful facility, friendly staff, and high-quality teachers. Our toddler is learning so much and just adores his teachers. He can't wait to get to school everyday. The price is very reasonable and includes lunch and snacks, unlike many of the daycares around town. We were offered a spot at Lipman and turned it down to stay at PLUM because we couldn't bear the thought of pulling our son out. Couldn't be happier here.
We have had a wonderful experience with Porter-Leath Preschool! The teachers, Ms. Moore and Ms. Hunter, truly care about the children and always take such good care of my daughter. She looks forward to school every day, eagerly greeting her classmates and teachers. It's clear that she's learning a lot, from practical skills like using a spoon and toilet training to socializing happily with her friends. I love that when I pick her up, her hair is neatly tied, showing the attention to detail and care the teachers provide. The entire staff is so welcoming, especially Ms. Wooten at the front desk, who greets us warmly each day. The facilities and equipment are also impressive—modern, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for young children to learn and explore. We are so grateful for the positive, supportive environment at Porter-Leath!
Candace Miller is so rude and a few others are as well. It’s a way you’re suppose to speak to people and communicate. Less nastiness, more classiness please.
Ms Cole is very unprofessional and they were charging me for my children not even being there. Ms Cole also lied and said my son was being disruptive and throwing books. I asked to see the footage of said things that had taken place but no one would show any evidence of footage of this matter. Also Ms Cole was trying to intervene with my son diagnosing to put under her belt which she has no experience of. Most people that worked or work here are mostly volunteers or just come out of school with no real experience. But to each its own. Also my son was struck by another child here and no one notified me until I picked him up that this had taken place. Side note I don’t even think the children get seconds here because the volunteers eat up everything. My take is at least let the children decide if they’re still hungry or not. No adult should be eating before a child.
My 3yo daughter started in late September and it's her first time in childcare. The facility is new and has a very nice early childhood environment. The staff is polite and professional. My child's teacher is well educated with a BA in early childhood and years of experience which helped my child with adapting into a new environment from home. I have not had an experience in which my child was harm or unsupervised so, so far so good. I will update my comment in the future.
