We found this church before we moved from Massachusetts a year ago and watched Pastor John's weekly Tuesday encouragement. We really liked his messages and our intention was to attend a Sunday at his church and try a few others as well. As it turned out, this was the only Presbyterian church offering in person services when we arrived last October. We went there our first few Sundays and the messages Pastor John delivered and the overall friendliness of the membership was enough to make us decide that this is the church for us and never went anywhere else. We recommend it to anyone who is looking for a spiritually fulfilling church.
This is a small and very friendly church. Pastor John gives amazing sermons and has a wonderful sense of humor. There are various fellowship groups within the church to meet everyone's needs: bible study, Sunday school, craft and knitting groups, grief group plus men's and women's breakfasts.
What a wonderful church! My husband and I rejoined this church in 2014 after an absence of almost 42 years and experiences with other churches. There were periods of time when we did not go to church at all until rediscovering this one. The people are warm and friendly. The pastor is great! I do not day dream during his sermons! The music is beautifully traditional. The choir director has a golden voice. He is opera-trained. People often clap after listening to the choir sing. The passing of the peace is a meaningful event. (It is sometimes difficult trying to get everyone back in their pews!) There is something for everyone at this church ranging from youth activities, women 's and men's Bible studies, and adult Sunday School. We even have bagpipers from time to time! The love of Jesus flows throughout this congregation. I return home feeling as though I benefitted immensely from being there. Thank you, Presbyterian Church of Broomfield! You make my day through the following week after each Sunday we are in attendance there. Couldn't be more pleased!!!
This church has excellent fellowship. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Not in a pushy way! In an honest, loving, come safely into the arms of Jesus way. I truly feel like I am part of a church family here.
The pastor is a little quirky... but in the most lovely way. Come pay a visit, hear the gospel, meet some wonderful people and maybe enjoy the occasional casserole. Presbyterians have their casserole game on fleek.
