Union Settlement Hs

So far not good. My kids are 5 and 7 with no IEP and have been asked to not return to Summer Rising until I have a meeting with Garcia. I’m very disappointed. They decided after the first week to not let my kids come back on Fridays due to their behavior. They have had no problems throughout the school year. I’ve never been called for a Complaint.

I used to come here for their mental health program. I looked for a place that was accepting new patients for a long time before I found Union Settlement. With the therapy and medications they gave me I turned my life around and gained tangible skills to improve my life. Thank you!

I love my child’s teacher. However some of the staff overstep there boundaries. One woman threaten to call child protective services on me because she claims I smelled like weed. When the whole block smells like weed. They question my child’s lateness when I explain I have another child who gets picked up by school bus that has been late at least three days out of the week. My child starves all day because the food is terrible so I feed him before he leaves home and they have a problem with that.

I received my medical transcription certificate in the late seventies...the building was small but the staff was top notch. I imagine the technology has advanced...they probably don't use those dictophones anymore or transcribers typing discharge summaries or operative summaries but the medical and operative terms haven't changed...and...I still remember my prefixes and suffixesffixewhich help me to this day

Looks good to me, my experience with them were very positive and family oriented as i can remember! I'm going back, they are very helpful here, and have a great since of humor!
