A week ago my two year old son experienced his first and only day at UTMPT. Throughout his day we received messages and photos through Procare from his teacher saying he was having a good day but did struggle at nap time. I was onboarding at my new job and ended my day early so I asked the teacher if she recommended I come get him or have him stay the full day, she recommended I come pick him up. Upon arriving I noted that it was still nap time. I asked how his day went and the owner proceeded to tell me that he was spitting, hitting, kicking, and displaying abnormal behavior for a two year old’s first day. He’d been home with me up until starting daycare. I asked the owners what I could do, they stated that he could return on Monday. Feeling concerned about his behavior as a parent, I called other facilities to run the behavior by them, consulted with a medical professional, and called early intervention. I spoke with the owner of another facility who said in her experience he was displaying normal first day behavior and she welcomed him to her school. We made the transition and it has been determined that he is a typical two year old boy and he’s now thriving at his new preschool.

The owners have a real passion for what they do and it shows in the way they run their business. You can tell they’ve created a place where children are cared for, encouraged, and given every opportunity to grow and learn.
UMPT is an amazing place for little ones. The staff is loving, caring, and dedicated. The owners have huge hearts and high standards. Their core values and philosophy come through in all they do. A great place for children to learn and grow. Highly recommend.
UTMPT has been such a blessing to my family and I. I was extremely nervous about finding a daycare I could trust but upon my first visit I knew it was the perfect place for my son. The staff and owners are always so kind, patient, & positive. The curriculum keeps the kids busy, moving, & learning which is great and super important to me. I’ve noticed my son’s confidence has grown, he’s made friends, and has become so much more social whereas he was a little more reserved before attending the daycare. I appreciate all the staff and the safe learning environment they provide. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Thanks UTMPT! ☺️
We LOVE Under the Magic Pine Tree! Our son has flourished here all thanks to their amazing staff. He always comes home happy and ready to talk about the day he had with his friends. As a former stay-at-home mom, I was understandably nervous to leave my son in someone else’s care during the day, but UTMPT made it a seamless transition for the both of us! I couldn’t imagine us going anywhere else.
