I didn't want to have to make this review but since Zulma did not take me serious, tried to manipulate my husband, did not handle our concerns professionally, or validate the seriousness of what happened, here we are. They kept my son in the 1 year old class until he was 2 ½, which clearly the worker/s in that group have no patience because nobody can explain to me how he had his entire big toe nail ripped off and crushed/ bruised (how does such an injury happen in a place that's supposed to be designed to prevent this) so fast forward it happens a 2nd time except it was his fingers crushed and a nail ripped off as well as 3 bruised finger tips. When I went to speak with ZULMA she was extremely dismissive and they tried to say it happened at home when there was absolutely no way it happened at home, THEN after calling out the inconsistencies they changed the story to "well it was just a hanging nail so the daycare worker clipped it" (2nd lie) which if that was true, why was I the one who actually had to clip it after he came home because it was split & torn so far down & literally hanging off. + My son clearly stated his teacher hurt him with the door (accidents happen but this was the 2nd time & no accountability).... Instead of taking accountability Ms. Zulma dismissed my concerns & let me know she would discuss it with my husband at pick up.👀 Then my husband said she tried to manipulate him and INSTRUCTING him that "I need you to have a talk with Mom and tell her we love the kids etc" then while she explained the conversation between her and I , she mocked & dismissed my concerns again by quoting what I said as "blah blah blah" but I'm supposed to believe these are safe, caring, honest people? If that was the case why would you lie, hide, or downplay an injury to rightfully concerned parents. Zulma even admitted that the injury was so bad my son would've had to been screaming. So my husband said "yeah that's my concern as well because I know it didn't happen at home and I didn't send him to daycare like that" she said she was going to find out what really happened and get back to us but she totally avoided ever getting back to us about it. I want the camera footage because it doesn't sit right with me that the worker who was with him didn't report it, lied about it and changed her story twice. Enough is enough. Who are these people we're trusting our babies with!? $$ This place is out only for money, constantly asking for donations & with very questionable integrity. I imagine an IRS tax audit would straighten them out. Just know *WHEN* your child gets hurt here you can never be sure how it really happened because they're not trustworthy and they've proven that to us a few times now. +++THE PLAYGROUND IS DANGEROUS AND HAS RUSTED EXPOSED METAL. Kids keep getting hurt on it but they haven't replaced it? Maybe they should ask for donations to put towards a safe playground? Just a thought 💭 🤔 Oh WAIT THERE'S MORE, They steal your kids clothes and don't send them in anything HURLEY because that's the favorite thing that never comes back. One time they literally took the clothes off our child then sent him back in somebody else's clothes, we never got ours back. He didn't have an accident so why was he even changed, if so, why didn't they use the his spare change of clothes & why has this become a common thing. To the point we stopped sending him in Hurley & now his clothes don't go missing. 😆 If your child has injuries I would highly recommend you be persistent and ask for video footage. They don't feed them often enough either. It's recommended by the American Academy of pediatrics that toddlers snack throughout the day so expect your child to be starving and desperately thirsty when you pick them up.
Unexplainable bruises many times on my 7 month old while she was here. Very dirty impetigo, HFM, COVID you name it they spread it here.
My toddler suffered terrible diaper rashes and I couldn't figure out why. Come to find out they were still giving her citrus which her stomach couldn't handle at the time. I informed them of this multiple times and they just all kind of acted like it was new information. I will not be bringing my new baby here.
When my husband and I moved to Marion Oaks on August 1st, we were excited to raise our children here and trusted what seemed like the best daycare option, Precious Angels. Unfortunately, what we thought would be a blessing quickly turned into one of the worst experiences we’ve had with childcare. 🔹 Enrollment & Fees We met with the director, Zulma, toured the school, and paid the $250 enrollment fee. What wasn’t explained was that fees were due for the current week at the same time, which created unexpected charges. When I explained that I couldn’t pay two weeks upfront and would need to catch up little by little and that I was on ELC I was met with dismissive comments like “So and other parents on ELC manage to pay on time.” 🔹 Health & Safety Shortly after starting, my children caught Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Instead of notifying parents of a possible outbreak, the daycare denied responsibility and even accused us of bringing it in stating “you and your kids brought that where you came from, if your not satisfied than find some where else to go”. No warning was ever sent through the app or email to other families. 🔹 Uniform Policy Weeks later, we suddenly received notice that our children would be charged daily fees if they were not in uniform—something never explained to us during the tour or enrollment. Despite being new to the area and struggling financially after a big move, we tried our best to comply. I even spent hours searching for uniforms that weren’t in season, and still couldn’t find all the right sizes. 🔹 Unprofessional Behavior When I reached out to the Marion Oaks community for help with finding uniforms, Liliana Cortez (from the daycare) stocked my social media and joined the community page the same day just to publicly comment on my post, criticize me, and say I should have read the handbook. Later, during pickup, she and Zulma confronted us in the office. Liliana told us flat out not to bring our children back, despite us never mentioning the daycare’s name publicly in the first place. What’s most upsetting is how disrespectful and unprofessional this all was—especially from a daycare that claims to be a Christian school. Families deserve better, especially those of us new to the area trying to build trust in our community. Please be cautious if considering Precious Angels. Our experience has been full of hidden fees, lack of communication, poor handling of health issues, and outright disrespect.
That's excellent school for my babies ,Also all teachers are excellent too. I recommend 100%.🥰😍
