Ucla Westwood Child Care Center

We ultimately enrolled our son in a childcare center closer to home, but our experience with UCLA Bright Horizons was outstanding from start to finish. Lauren, the enrollment manager, was incredibly responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful, and every interaction with the team showed how knowledgeable, attentive, and child-centered they are. The UCLA facility is spotless, polished, and thoughtfully designed — you can tell they take tremendous pride in creating a safe and nurturing environment. We would have been absolutely thrilled to enroll our son here if it were just a bit closer to us.

We cannot recommend BH Westwood and their team more highly! We looked at 5 other daycare / children centers before deciding on the Westwood location, and we cannot be more grateful for the care we've received. We now have 2 kids with them full-time and it's been 2 years of seeing our children learning, enjoying and advancing on social, language, motor skills, their ability to understand things and more. First, the teachers are absolutely amazing. They're saints, Miss Joe, Miss Dani, Miss Chelsea, Miss Ronnie, Miss Brenda, Miss Shaeena, Miss Anika, Miss Danielle, and more... Second, they have amazing support / admin staff, Miss Jennie, Donna, Ruby that interacts with parents and help US become better parents and how to deal with children at this young age. We've had regular interactions with them to better ourselves for our kids. Third, they have so many programs (to our surprise), always switching things up, water play date, STEM program, visual learning, teaching toddlers to gently feed dolls In anticipation of baby arrivals, singing and many more. Lots of opportunities to have parents, grandparents to participate throughout the year. You also get great updates throughout the day on how your little ones are doing, how much they’re eating etc. It's an investment for your kids of course as this is a premium service, but their flexible hours makes it possible for us to have our jobs. We couldn't recommend the Westwood Center more highly, they treat their staff and team well, and everyone we interact with actually enjoy their jobs - i.e. being with children, taking care of them with patience and love, and that's the most important thing to us when deciding on where to send our kids to.

We love Bright Horizons! We are so grateful that our son attends “school” there. The transition back to work after maternity leave was very difficult but knowing he was in such a safe, caring, attentive environment helped. We also love getting updates and pictures throughout the day on the app. We love that our little one has made strong attachments with his caregivers there and that he interacts and learns from the children in his class. It is the sweetest thing to see the babies play peekaboo with each other! The teachers and staff are incredibly kind and caring. They are supportive, helpful, and look out for the best interests of the children. They are friendly and we immediately felt welcomed into the center. It has been wonderful to have them to share our child’s growth and development with. Bright Horizons is up-to-date on the latest pediatric developmental and safety recommendations, which was very important to us. They are also detailed in their periodic reports on our child’s development, covering all the different areas of a child’s development. We are so grateful to have such an excellent childcare option available to us.

Both of my children have attended bright horizons through the years. I am so appreciative of the love and patience they provided to my children. They helped my children flourish and prepare for elementary school. The staff is also very supportive of parents to help get them to many phases or their development. This place has been my safe space and I will miss it so much when we move on to elementary school. They are exceptional.

I cannot express how amazing the team at BH Westwood is. Everyone in the admin team and staff as well as teachers are so caring and attentive. I have had both of my kids at the center and they feel like family to me. I have seen my kids grow and become more independent and learn and flourish day by day. I am very grateful to have trusted them with my kids 🌹
